A lady was having a very loud conversation on speakerphone in the mall bathroom this morning. And she was not being quiet about her business either. So weird.
I had Chipotle for lunch today and it was glorious!
I think W is officially dropping naps...she hasn't napped in well over a week now . Now if I only I could kick this first Tri exhaustion...
I go back to work tomorrow. I keep crying and I feel nauseous. Pumping isn't going great so I bought a brand new one at Target. I hope it works better. I'm really struggling today.
I'm about to go postal on my coworker. He's been a cranky baby this whole school year for who knows what reason. I had to take over a job he did last year (handing out lockers) Well, he kept delaying giving me vital bits of info. I finally got it all figured out. Gave info to teachers. We're handing them out tomorrow. Then he says "all of these lockers have books in them for storage" Nice to know asshole! It parent night, so we get 2 hours to go eat before we have to come back. Now I can't go eat. I have to stay and fix the stuff he didn't tell me. Then run fast to get my kid and bring her back here. I'm pissed
I am pissed for you. Can someone bring you some food back?

People offered. I won't have time to eat. I'll have to eat afterwards. At 9.

Today, in FWPs on my neighborhood facebook page - A woman is complaining about the lack of appropriately scented dresser drawer liners for her nursery. There are plenty of scents for adult men and women, but none for her precious baby girl.

I like this new schedule except I work until 8 every night now. and my H also works late so my dad pick noah up now and my sister watches him here until I get off. He is sitting downstairs sobbing because he wants me and he isn't used this. my heart is a little broken.

I'm sorry, hugs!! I hope your first day goes well.
I've moved and officially live in SE Asia! We are in our new apartment and getting settled in. We don't have our stuff yet but went to Ikea this past weekend and it was a MADHOUSE.
Yesterday was my first full day back at work but DH brought DS in and I got to skip a pump session and nurse instead. Today is my first day chained to the pump all day. artgal84, I hope your day goes better, it's been ok for me. Just drink lots of water!
Also, everyone who encouraged me to hire the live-in nanny was soooooooooooooo right. She's nice and great with the kids. More importantly, she's an early riser and actually has my coffee ready in a to-go cup in the mornings. DH hasn't started his job yet but that's actually wonderful - he's basically with the kids and nanny most of the day to get them all set up. We're visiting preschools for DD and hope to start her next week!

Localish people...the CA Science Center in DTLA is awesome! Lots to do for 3 year olds. I highly recommend it. The girls loved seeing the space shuttle and the 3D IMAX about the Hubble Telescope even though it was not geared towards young kids. D kept yelling, "I'm in space!!". @jayhawkali devotchka ladybug steph196 Loco Coco earlybird

I'm sorry, it's so hard and I hate transitions. I hope your day goes well, and quickly. Getting into a pumping routine is awkward but you will get faster and better.

Congrats on the move! I've been seeing your pics and wondering how it has been going. So glad the nanny situation is working out!
Good luck artgal84. Hugs to you. I totally get it.
Thanks so much. How is your week going?
It's easy so far because we don't have students and both girls are with my fil. Just not looking forward to doing the full time craziness. But no pumping this year! I don't miss that at all.

Both girls cleaned their plates tonight for probably the first time ever. The exotic meal that I made was scrambled eggs, hash browns and peas. I don't know why I even try with anything more elaborate.

That's great to know! I have taken older kids there before, but couldn't remember if there was enough for little ones. We will have to head out there one day! Thanks!

We have our first stomach bug, I'm cowering in our room while H is downstairs with him. I really hope the rest of us are spared because there's no way I'll be off the hook if Alexander get sick, he's such a mommys boy right now. I'm trying to sleep but my brain won't shut down.
