What would you like to do/by right now but are on the fence?
MI really want to get an iPod touch to use exclusively for spin. The music and playlist takes up so much room on my phone.
I can't commit to doing this because I own two iPods, but never use them because making playlists in the computer and transferring them over is a huge time suck. Thoughts?

Oh that's a great idea! I always take my phone to the gym and I hate how I have nowhere to put it and I end up having to shove it in my bra.
I want to buy a rowing machine. It's supposed to be a great workout, my gym doesn't have them, and decent home models are less expensive than I expected. The only thing stopping me is that we really don't have a place for it, but I'm sure I can figure out a solution to that. lol.
irene adler Wouldn't you have to make a playlist for an iPod touch too? I say just use one of your existing iPods and put the money toward some cute new workout gear or fall clothes instead. If you don't want to spend the time loading it fully, just do a bit at a time. Artists A - F one day, G - L the next, etc. Or do it one one-hour playlist at a time, starting with your favorite workout songs.
I want to go learn how to apply makeup. Cant justify it because I am not sure they will do a good job of making me look not made up (!) and I'll have to spend all that money and will probably never use the products I'll buy.
Youtube is your friend for learning makeup application. I learned how to do my brows on youtube.
tryingtobehappy I feel like paying for makeup lessons is mostly unnecessary now with all the YouTube tutorials out there. The hardest part for me is finding tutorials for more natural makeup. So many of them go to Kardashian levels of excess.
And as far as finding which products work best for you, reading online reviews and asking questions at Sephora can probably get you most of the way there.

I am on the fence about spending two nights in New Orleans following our cruise later this month.
Pro: spending our 5 year anniversary in New Orleans, we will already be there, unlikely we will make another trip in the near future
Con: DH will be tired of vacationing and ready to come home, I don't have time to plan properly, we are already spending a night before the cruise, and our travel costs are getting a little out of hand. We have NOLA/Mexico cruise in September, long weekends to Charleston and Athens in October, and a week-long ski trip (TBD) in December.
The issue comes up with the actual plugging in and transfer and the ability to change up the list without having to go back to the pc. I don't want to have to slow the momentum of a class to fuss with song order.
Also having the ability to directly download songs from iTunes would be amazing
ETA--I could also buy a 2nd gen refurbished one off eBay for $20. This would be a mistake, right?

Oh heck, then go for it! I thought we were talking a couple hundred dollar purchase. $20 is well worth it for the convenience. And you might as well sell or trade in at least one, if not both, of your old iPods.

What kind of gym doesn't have rowing machines!?!? My dad has one he's had for prob 30 years. It isn't too heavy and he just stands it up against the wall when he's done with it. Maybe you could find something like that and cure the space issue.
I want to get a new window cut into my living room, which is too dark. This is something we've been discussing and putting off for years and had finally decided to do this summer.
But, with our truck having more and more issues we're thinking we need to save the $ in case we need to replace it instead (the previous plan had been to replace the truck in ~2 years).
We can technically afford both, but we'd rather not pull out that much $ at once.

If you're sure on the DH being unhappy about it one, I would probably skip it for that reason (rather than anything financial). I suppose it depends on how good a sport he is, though.

I wouldn't do this, but not because of the money. When I get off a cruise ship, I am SO done and just want to go home. Especially if you'll be there the night before you cruise.
I really want a Roomba. I have a dog and I feel like as soon as I vacuum, there's fur or dirt from his paws on the floor again.
Anyone with pets have one? Which one and would you recommend? Talk me into it!
We have a Roomba and a Neato (the off brand) and we LOVE them.
Biggest perk: because they're gadgets my husband is interested in them. I literally do nothing with them and he sets their schedules and empties their bins. They zip around the house each day and I don't have to ever think about sweeping. They go under the furniture, and do a pretty good job getting in corners too.
We have four cats and they've been perfect for picking up the cat hair tumbleweeds. Having these vacuums also forces us to keep the floors tidy so they're not getting tangled up in things like shoelaces.

My small Y branch, apparently! I'll have to look for the space saving kind, good idea.

Ahhh. I always forget that one is over there. I was racking my brain and could only come up with big guns that should have them!!

I lost my iphone 6 64GB this past weekend. I'm not elegible for a new phone until MAY. I was able to get a loaner 5s from work for free-awesome. But it's only 16GB! I want more storage-I take a million pics and save them all. I'm tempted to buy a used iPhone 6 or even a used 5 with 32GB. It's the last thing I need to spend money on though, lol.

I'm too cheap to join the big, nice gyms. lol.
Actually, we just joined the J in January (mostly to get the camp discount for DD1). I was shocked at how inexpensive it was for what you get. We've used the pool there both indoor and outdoor (our pool is, um, interesting in the summer). The facilities are amazing. If you ever want to check it out you can do a free week trial. I'd guess its mote than the Y but I was pleasantly surprised.

I've never had over a 16gb. Just transfer your photos onto your PC periodically if you run out of space.
But I want to acesss ALL MY PHOTOS ALL THE TIME. I have a hard time saying goodbye...even if they're on another device. Lol
My IT guy told me about "google photos"-it stores all your photos onto your Google drive so it doesn't take up space on your phone and you can delete them from your phone and just use your google app!

I made DH get me one for my birthday. I LOVE IT. I'm a little worried it sort of blows the cat hair around, but eventually it gets it. Dog hair I think is heavier and it would get for sure. It doesn't go over my dark navy small solid rug. It thinks it's a drop off. But I hate that rug so I'll replace it with something lighter. It does go over our super shaggy area rug. I have the 650. The surprise for me was how entertained I am by it. It's like having a drunk maid. My cats are also entertained by it, so everyone approves.
I need a new bike. My $50 used bike that is stuck on one gear is not cutting it anymore. I'm having a hard time because of the aforementioned Roomba purchase, but I commute with my bike... it's not just a hobby thing. I need to pull the trigger.

I have a Neato and I adore it. Plus 2 Golden Retrievers and a cat. Judging from the amount of crap it picks up every day, we must live in absolute squalor.
