CNN changed its debate criteria to include anyone in the top ten. This means that Carly Fiorina, who is surging somewhat in a few polls, can participate. Before this change, she wasn't able to participate because CNN was using data going back to July 16.
They're reporting this on FNC's The Five, but I am sure there are other sources.
Will you watch the debate, and what type of questions do you think will and should be asked? I would like to hear some info about policy, like a question directed at a few governors about collective bargaining and their anti-union efforts. (obviously Kasich, Christie, Walker)
I'd also like a question about what the candidates' primary issues are now and what they would be in the White House.

Wait, when is the next debate? It's not in September, is it? I decided I was giving up booze for September.
I just want to see Walker crash and burn. Nothing he's done since the debate indicates to me that any of his answers will be more substantive than they were in the first one.

Hey now, I posted the dates in the last debate thread. Help me help you!
well, I'm not usually a fan of rule changes, but this whole GOP primary has been so crazy that they couldn't really have predicted the insanity. I'm glad to see she will be included (hopefully) for the main debate next time. Even if I think she's nuts, I'm happy to see a woman on stage & hopefully bringing up some women's issues ( i know naive...)

I'm so fed up with them all, no, I won't watch the debate and the only questions I want asked is, "Are you legitimately a crazy person, or do you just play one on TV?"

Yeah, I am almost here. But I'm still somewhat torn on the issue. On the one hand, I want to watch it because I usually enjoy these things.
On the other, the GOP race has taken a disturbing turn and the racism is really starting to get hard to stomach. I like hate-watching, but I don't like watching hate.
I would love to see questions about raising the minimum wage and taxing unearned income like earned income but I don't think that will happen in the Republican debates.
So maybe these questions are more realistic:
"Would you make any changes to Social Security?"
"Military deployments have greatly increased in the last 10 years with many service members having deployed two or more times to combat zones. What would you do as President to ensure that our military is ready for the challenges of 2016 and beyond."
And as a follow up question:
"Due to these increased deployments, many service members are returning home with both physical and psychological injuries. As President, how will you address their physical and mental health needs as well as their need to support themselves and their families?
