Wyatt decided that our new leather couches were not sufficient for napping, and tried to dig himself a bed. There's scratch marks all over my cushion. HALP! Wyatt needs advice on how to fix this to avoid the pound* Can I get some kind of conditioner or something? What do you recommend? H is gonna be PISSED.
I can just use my thumb to rub out some of the marks the cats leave when they slide off unintentionally, so you might be able to buff them out. Do you remember the name of the manufacturer? You can check their website to see if it has any guidance, or even followup with them to see what they'd recommend.
We did have to have a tear on our couch repaired a few months after we got it. Since it had been a whole 4 months since we'd bought it and it's a dog free couch, the company sent someone to repair it. It was maybe 2" long, and when I asked the guy who fixed it how much it would have cost us he said probably about $100 for that sized tear. Unless you look closely or run your hand over it you can't tell it was repaired.

I use lexol products on my saddle. The cleaner is in an orange container and the conditioner is in a light tan. Don't get the neatsfoot oil in the dark chocolate container as that will darken the leather. I would recommend doing the cleaner all over your entire couch first and then the conditioner to get things even in color. You can find lexol at some cobbler shops or at any tack shop.
