I painted my nails and am contemplating waxing my legs for the first time ever. I DIYed a brazilian wax once, and it was a SUCH A BAD IDEA. Now I'm scarred (not literally, but damn close). Will it be okay? Chime in, leg waxers!

I tried a self-Brazilian once, and like yours, it was a disaster. I still occasionally do my legs, but it's kind of hard to do the backs of them.

I get that and it turned out to be sciatica. I had to get adjusted. Hope it feels better!

Sciatica is a bitch.  It usually results in a shooting pain down the back of my leg, though.  I'm sure it's a little different for everybody.

Sciatica is a bitch.  It usually results in a shooting pain down the back of my leg, though.  I'm sure it's a little different for everybody.

I just took an iburprofen, so hopefully that kicks in soon. It's kind of a dull burn right now, but it's annoying as hell.

I'm attempting to make something in the oven with the sliced potatoes that were leftover after I made potato, spinach, and feta gratin for dinner. They've been baking with olive oil, salt, and pepper for over an hour now, but still aren't crispy. Grrrrr...
