Congrats! We moved during DH's busy season (so he was never home) and i packed the entire house, with a 2 year old, at 6 months pregnant. I was freaking out at first but i gave myself 5 weeks and just packed a few boxes every night. My mom helped with the kitchen, and DH did all the garage and electronics stuff, but otherwise, i did it all (and donated a ton of stuff, which made it easier!)
Or hire packers because that would have been amazing!
leonard131, our real estate market is really hot right now so I expect the house to sell quickly. I'm crossing my fingers that we may be able to rent it back for a few months or something. I don't want to find temporary housing in a college town for 8 weeks. Ugh.
huskymom I'm SO EXCITED to purge! Having H gone while I do it may actually be perfect. He has a hard time getting rid of things :-)
Congratulations! We moved halfway across the country, including a 3-day drive with a moving truck, when I was 6 months pregnant. You'll be fine and you should have plenty of time to settle in before the baby comes.

Yay! Congratulations!! Wishing you a very happy and healthy 9 months and will pray that your move goes as smooth as possible!
DH wants to move next Spring/Summer and we will start TTC in January. I've already warned him that I will likely be completely useless with packing/moving/keeping house clean for potential buyers/etc. Hire as much help (or accept offers) as you can! You need your rest to help grow your little baby!

Congrats and good luck! We moved (locally) when I was 10 weeks pregnant with DS -- wasn't fun, but we survived. We were going to TTC this fall, but we're moving into our new house this winter, so we are putting it off til we are settled (...unless the universe says otherwise).
