When a recipe can't give you semi-accurate cooking times.
Cook at 400 for 20 minutes, then broil for 2-3. Yeah. Not quite. An extra 15 minutes gave me cooked pork but raw beans and potatoes. And I cut the veggies up smaller than suggested. Grrrr.
I also hate that if my kid doesn't finish every drop of her milk, the cat will get on the table and knock it over before I can get it cleaned up. EVERY. TIME.

I was thinking I cook stuff wrong. Mostly stove top stuff. Like they say dice chicken and cook on med for about 5 minutes until done. Well it takes at least 10 minutes on high for my chicken to be done!
Ahh! So I bought a frozen lasagna today because I wanted to be lazy. I cooked it the full time and let it cool down 5 mins. Cut a piece and it was still cold. Blahhhh
A poorly written recipe is the shittiest thing of all. Someone's carelessness can ruin a dinnet!
It was even a damndelicious recipe. So I expected a bit more. Plus, I used tenderloin cut in pieces. If I used bone in chops like it called for, it would have been a million times worse.

Lasagna is notorious for this. It's so hard to really know if it's hot inside, even if the top is all bubbly.

Plus this is what I get for buying a frozen one. I had to put it in another 20 mins and it was pretty good!
