I'm getting my tires changed and the channel 8 morning news show lady just said that she's asked her (soon to be) SIL not to nip at her wedding. Because it's HER day.
Bitch. Shut up.
As I sit here nursing in the mr. Tire waiting room.
I can see asking that the kids not attend (let's not have That debate again) but once you invite the infant you gotta let the kid eat! Wtf!

WTF is the point of allowing the baby at the wedding if the baby is not allowed to eat? Weird.
FTR, though I had a kid free wedding reception, THE ONE exception I made was for the wife of one of our groomsmen to bring their six week old baby who was still breastfeeding and not really taking bottles yet. BECAUSE I'M NOT AN ASSHOLE.
That's nuts and I would either not attend or I would feed my baby as usual. Probably I'd send DH on his own and tell him to get used to that, as I avoid crazy where possible.

Oh hell no. I don't even understand why it would matter in the least. Baby is there, baby will need to eat. It wouldn't even dawn on me to be upset about a baby eating at my wedding.
Why do some women turn into such hosebeasts when it comes to their wedding? Why are people so weird about breastfeeding? Why is grown people shoveling food down their throats the more preferable sight? What is NIP?
NIP- Nursing In Public IE not slinking off to the bathroom/car/other unpleasant place to save people from seeing a baby eat.

Also, I would think a nursing baby would be preferred over a crying baby.
Don't you know that the dj announces it and mom sits on a special dais at the front of the dance floor while NIP? Special lanyards are issues to the most favored guests and those who contributed the most financially for prime seats.

My sister had a 3 yo and 6 mo old at my wedding. We worked the day's timeline to make sure she had nursing breaks when he usually ate, and knew we would pause as needed. Because, you know, I love her and her kids.

Guarantee SIL will nurse her baby and the bride won't even notice because she's too busy and there are too many people around to catch everything. Or she will see her SIL nursing and will think the baby is just sleeping/being held.
I didn't even notice that there WAS a baby at my wedding.
An uninvited baby. Brought with its uninvited mother.
I didn't notice until I was looking at pictures. So, yeah, the bride will not notice.
Did she show up with with someone or just crash the party?
eta: not the baby. I'm sure the baby was the picture of a good guest.
She came with an invited guest. Adult, married child of one of my mom's cousins. She's like 5 years older than me so she was like 30 at the time. So there is no way mom's cousin would've gotten the invite and assumed it included her kids.

So, crasher. Just not a completely random crasher.

Yep. One who drove an hour and a half to crash, at that.
