I just don't care. I don't care about who this woman is or her opinion or anyone who thinks like her. Her sort of diatribe falls into the same category as people like Donald Trump and Ann Coulter and any other purposefully antagonistic "celebrities".
She's not saying anything ground breaking or revolutionary or new. She's repeating the same false trope that fat people have been hearing for decades. Blah, blah, blah. My response to Arbour? Get a new gimmick, bitch. Do something original and stop co-opting the work of douchecanoes before you if you truly want to be shocking or ground breaking or whatever.
She's nothing special. She's just a common American asshole.
Same here. She's a "Youtube Star" and that sort of says a lot right there with me, I don't hold those people highly to begin with.

I got as far as "do I look stupid" and turned it off so I didn't realize she was being "funny" until I read y'alls comments. Which is a pity. The Walking Dead thing COULD have been funny if someone else was doing it.
It's sort of hard to decide which part of me is more annoyed by this: the fat part or the comedy fan part.
It's like she missed the memo that picking on already marginalized groups is not funny. A huge reason that Jon Stewart was so successful with The Daily Show is that he went after powerful people.
That this schtick is unoriginal is offensive enough. If you're going to be derivative, you have to at least BE FUNNY.
It never fails to shock me when people who call themselves comedians fail to follow the rule of making fun "up". You can poke fun at groups you belong to or at groups that are above you so to speak but you always come across poorly when you make jokes "down".
She is awesome. I love her show and her positive energy.
doesnt she have PCOS? i remember reading about that when her youtube went viral. but then the TLC show seemed to be about weight loss. unless they were saving the PCOS thing to be revealed on the show.
She talks a lot about PCOS and how it makes it harder for her to lose weight, how she has facial hair, has lost hair on her head. She is very, very open about the PCOS. She is very open about herself, and I kind of love her for it. She gives no shits. But she is trying to be healthier because she is right on the border of being diabetic.
Days after posting a controversial video on YouTube titled "Dear Fat People"—where she jokes about obesity and even compares some overweight people to slow-moving zombies—Nicole Arbour is out of the job. It turns out that Pat Mills has decided to drop the YouTube star from an upcoming movie and told Zap2it why he never wants to see Arbour again. "[I'm making] a dance movie, so obviously we needed a choreographer. We met with a woman who not only did traditional dance choreography, but was a cheerleader as well. She was fun and nice and had a lot of energy," Mills told the site.
"She seemed like a perfect fit for the project. I shared the script with her. She said she dug it and was excited to come on board…and then a crazy thing happened on Saturday—I saw something on the Internet that made me never want to see her again." Mills continued to explains how Arbour's fat-shaming comments completely contradict the message behind Don't Talk to Irene, saying, "It's a body-positive teen dance movie set in a retirement home. It's about a 16-year-old girl who dreams of being a cheerleader, but she is constantly being bullied for being fat."
In the end, Mills says, the main character "learns that she doesn't have to change anything about herself to be awesome because she already is." Mills also wanted to note that Arbour's viral bullying hit a nerve for another reason. "I'm gay, I was bullied a lot as a kid. I'm no stranger to ridicule and loneliness. [Her video] is an unfunny and cruel fat-shaming video that guises itself about being about 'health.' It's fat phobic and awful…I was so upset I was shaking."
Mills had one message to Arbour, and to all those out there who spoke out against the YouTuber's video: "Bullies like Nicole Arbour are the reason I am making this movie. I'm tired of body shaming. It's everywhere."
Earlier today, E! News caught up with Ashley Graham who called Arbour's comments downright "disgusting." She added, "I am an advocate for women and empowering women and making sure that women around me feel comfortable and confident. That is not something she is about!" Preach!
I'm suddenly reminded of all the people whose lives are ruined after they do something incredibly mean, thoughtless, or just plain stupid, and the entire world ostracizes (or sometimes threatens to kill) them. I felt bad when that person was the dope who caught the foul ball at the Cubs World Series play off games several years ago. This person has ended her career and I just don't feel sorry for her.
