I had big ideas of getting all my continuing education hours on maternity leave. Ha! The only project I've made any headway on was ordering and sending out birth announcements, which are actually done, unless my parents tell me about another random family friend that they want me to send one to.
Getting ready for a big get-together with the family at my house on Saturday. I feel like so much of it is under control....but we'll see. Hopefully, panic doesn't set in on Friday!! LOL At least I'm not cooking. I have barbecue ordered that I'm picking up.
amaranth - speaking of projects, can you share the soup recipe you mentioned a couple weeks ago? I think it was an apple curry.
I have Mulligatawny which is like a curry stew with vegetables, chicken, rice, and apples
or there is a Curried Parsnip Soup, which also has an apple in it. This one you blend smooth and eat with bread of some kind.
Which one did you want? I make Mulligatawny to eat as the entire meal because it has everything in it. The parsnip one is more like an appetizer meant to compliment a main course.
amaranth - pretty sure it was the curried parsnip soup. thank ya!
It's been a while since I made it with the recipe so I can't remember if I made any adjustments, but I will say it's definitely better with a sweeter leaning curry than the bitter kind.
I don't know if I consider this a project, but I have been working on coloring this for a while.
Oh yes, i was also going to do all the coloring and book reading and binge TV watching. Again, ha!
Haha I know that feeling. I did binge watch some stuff but did no reading or any other little projects I wanted to do. Oh well
Also, I really want to get one of those coloring books for adults.. I think that and some colored pencils would totally relax me! Love it christy082! (I'm pretty sure that's not a coloring book, but similar idea!)

My current projects are
-Packing. We have so little packed considering we want to do a bulk of the moving this weekend. -Finding a washer/dryer set. Proving to be a bit more expensive than I was hoping but I think we can handle it if we keep cutting down on things. -Speaking of which, I need to continue nailing down our budget and meal plans. So far this week is going well but we'll see. -Cleaning up the house. We already cleaned the carpets and I used some wood stuff on the floors in the bedrooms, plus did a few of the windows. Need to clean more windows and just generally get it cleaner. Mostly needs some cobweb removal, hehe. -Laundry. I consider this a project because I want to make sure everything is washed before we move since we don't pay for water here

Putting some finishing touches on some tomb stones. Dragging decorations up from the basement. I have also GOT to clean this house. Is's not gross dirty just have a very nasty habit of piling things on my tables mantel basically all flat surfaces lol. I'm conflicted about doing too many Halloween decorations up because kids. That leaves an awful lot of day before and day of prep. Oh well it will be worth it.

Knitting socks for H. So far I've done half of one leg portion. Hemming shorts for my dad. By the time I'm done, it'll be too cold to wear them! Painting the new front door, entryway, and hallway. Cleaning and organizing the basement (this can be found on every to do list I've made since we moved in last April, lol) Starting on sewing/knitting Christmas presents. Sewing Halloween costumes (except we haven't decided what to be!)
Ok my project list; -blanket for a coworkers baby shower -blanket I want to start for H -kitchen floorings, counter, and backsplash -bathroom floors, counter and backsplash -painting kitchen - clean out spare room -de clutter house -organize wool/craft stuff
I guess some of these haven't started yet but I've started looking at colors/designs so it's somewhat started
