Quick! Last minute rec needed!
Something for an early (pre-theater) Saturday dinner near one of the following: Guggenheim Museum, 86th Street subway stop on Fifth Ave, or something in the high 30s to high 40s at Eighth or Ninth Avenues. I have Parm and Pio Pio noted as possibilities on the UWS from earlier in this thread.

Parm would be good. Stay far away from 30s to 40s on 8th its...not good. There is nothing to eat unless you want BBq daisy Mae is there but honestly just no.
there is one restaurant in that area that is decent called 44 and x. I have never been but I've heard Thalia is good. Maybe try The Smith slightly north but fun.
How early are you willing to eat? I'd rather eat in the earlier side and go somewhere decent than eat crap just to be in the theatre district.

We are probably going to the Guggenheim around 4 and have theater tickets at 8, so early is fine.

OK, so, some recs:
the only thing i know up there is luke's lobster and flex mussels (super fun!!!), but that's probably not what you're looking for. honestly though flex is really fun i'd try that.
if you're willing to go down and do midtown east then walk to theatre, i'd try:
ma peche keen's felidia le cirque (you can do the cafe and i think it still has a price fixe menu, if so that's a good option) cho dang gol (koreatown, awesome, authentic korean bbq) could also try shilla or seoul garden, i hear they are good
