I love the plus size group Brie added me too. The rep is so sweet.
I find the clothes to be very, very hit or miss. Some are adorable, some look like they're for 90-year-olds, and some look like they're for 80s aerobic instructors.
I am confused how it works. They seem to only sell what they have in inventory...do they have to put out major cash to buy the clothes upfront before they sell them?
Yeah I fell down the rabbit hole. It's a mlm but I like it
Like pp said some is super cute and some is fug but I like that once I know what style I like there are like a million different prints in that style and I know I'll like the cut on each.
I even want to host a party maybe in a few months, what have I turned into? Idk if I will actually go through with it though, hosting a mlm party is a big leap for my general mlm dislike.

Yes, that's how it works. The sellers up charge to make a profit. The real money is when you have a team of sellers under you so you a portion of their profit as well.
Yeah there's some serious fug mixed in with the cute stuff. I like it a lot because it strikes a balance between comfort and work appropriate--the stretchy pencil skirts are to die for.
It's apparently like $5K and up to become a consultant. Crazy.
I have no stake in the game but am happy to share outfit pics if anyone's curious.

As a former apparel buyer, I think this is a pretty smart business model. There is a ton of mark up in apparel at all retailers; typically we pay x3 the cost in store. That's why stores can be 40% off a lot and still make money.

This is a big reason in why I haven't ordered! One of my friends just became a consultant and loves the clothes. I'm SO fashion-challenged that I don't trust my judgement to choose prints that are cute/flattering.

Now that I see that the consultant has to order and own her inventory in person for purchase at the party, it could very easily become a huge investment to get started.
With so many styles, colors and sizes, you'd need to buy 10+ pieces minimum to be in-stock in just one choice.
That type of inventory management is my full time job, so I hope they help consultants navigate that process.
I should hire myself out as a consultant to the consultants, LOL
How does this work? Do I put in an order for what I want or can I only buy what you have in stock? I like that pleated skirt with pockets and the Amelia dress.
Only what I have in stock - I do have amelias but I don't have Madison's yet. Soon!
thebreakfastclub I didn't know you were an apparel buyer and do inventory management now! I was an assistant buyer and do assortment planning/product flow for small boutiques for myself now. Do you work for a smaller company or larger?

You might be living my dream. My boss and I were fired in June, so now I'm nowhere. I was in apparel and then footwear for sporting goods. I miss it.
I requested to join the group in case you get a random person.
How do the skirts work for ladies with huge hips? My waist to hip ratio is weird and I have a hard time getting stuff to fit.
I think the Madison skirts would be great! I don't have them yet but soon. I have maxis and pencil skirts (cassies) right now. I love both, esp the maxis. You can check lots of example pics oh my page! People are super good about posting what they've purchased.

I agree. I have a small waist but wide hips and thighs and love the Madison.
How does this work? Can I order an item from the catalog from you? The other group I've been added to against my will has nothing. I'd need plus sized stuff, and she only has 2 plus sized tops, and one was immediately claimed. I'd like to see a dress!
I am also in a group that exclusively sells XL-3X stuff. Let me know if you want me to add you!

I have dresses! And maxi skirts. There's no catalog. I'm posting them all tomorrow in the group.
Can you PM me your name? I will tag you in my post that explains how LLR works.
