I was disappointed by the number of "were awarded last night" and doubling up Actor/Actress in performance categories!!
Tracy Morgan was a highlight, Viola Davis, too, and Uzo Aduba, so grateful, such a wonderful reaction and speech. I thought Andy Samburg did a good job, but overall, snoozefest of a show. Sorry to see Frances McD seem so put out by winning; I have loved her but last night she was off.
I thought the stage set was awful, the music was depressing, except for Amy Schumer? WTF is that about?!
I was so bored this year, so bored. And there were, IMO, too many technical awards, and writing awards up front - I lost interest but hung in there to watch Game of Thrones take it all, boo, haha - I don't watch it.
And way to go Emmys, spoiling every show out there in your montage!! LOL

That's Frances McDormand's persona.
I really liked the Emmys this year. I was very excited for the awards given in the final hour. Usually, I am fighting sleep even with the Oscars, but I was truly excited to see if Game of Thrones, Jon Hamm, and Viola Davis would win.
I'm glad a few of the frequent winners were put out to pasture, like Veep finally beating Modern Family and Game of Thrones prevailing over Mad Men. It was also genuinely exciting to watch to see if Taraji or Viola would win. (It was going to be one of them.)
The buzz is done for a couple of shows I love, though: Homeland and House of Cards.
