It's not actually cold yet, so this isn't a big deal for the moment, but the majority of my wardrobe that actually fits me right now and will accommodate pumping without getting naked is knit dresses. (my pants and skirts don't fit yet, my woven dresses would all require getting half naked)
Think the Lands End Fit and Flare dress. I own several of those and similar.
I know I wore them through the fall last year, but for the life of me I can't remember what I wore them with. Cardigan/blazer obviously. But tights and Leggings sound weird to me for some reason. Am I just having a weird mental block? Help me out here.
Can I be a pain in the ass and ask about a specific dress? It's dark blue and white so I have no idea what color tights/boots to put with it. Right now I wear it with a white cardigan and nude wedges.
I have it in solid black too but that seems a lot easier to coordinate.

Just wear the Black one in the Fall, this dress seems very Spring and Summer-like.

I just go bare legged until I can't take it any more then it's usually too cold for rights to help much anyway. At that point I recommend just buying a pair or two of bigger pants if needed.
Cardigans, blazers, jean jackets, leather jackets could all work depending on the the dress.
I just wear flats for shoes but my calves are too big for boots. As in I have literally never found a pair that fit. And I feel like ankle boots look super weird on me.

Eloquii has big calf boots. Also Duo boots if you want to spend the money.
I'll check Eloquii, but thus far, no one makes them big enough--I think I need 19"? I'd have to remeasure. I've not wanted to shell out for custom at this point.

Widewidths.com is the best boot money I've ever spent.
also...I tried to do this last fall and then got KTFU and put it off in case my feet grew. I'm going to finally bite the bullet and get some sort of bootie/shootie something that I can wear with opaque tights and dresses. And pants I suppose, but primary use will be tights and dresses.
Help? Black. Leather. Relatively comfortable (so no 5 inch heels) I have short legs which are kinda offset by nice slender ankles, so I've avoided these things till now as being stumpifying, but I've stared at them long enough on other people to believe that I can pull them off - particularly black on black tights. wawa, I actually really love No Nonsense tights. I discovered them last year when I was in rural NC and the only place to get tights was Wal-Mart, but you can also get them on Amazon. Unfortunately, they do not come in many colors, but for plain black, they are great.

With knee-length dresses, I feel like I have to be careful with tall boots, though. If there's no skin showing around the knee or upper calf, I feel like fat Stevie Nicks.

Clarks - they have a bunch of booties with low heels that are comfy and look good.

wawa - Those are good choices - cut-wise at the ankles. I have small ankles too, so I always look for a lower cut bootie because everything else looks clunky. I still can't get over models wearing boots that look like their entire foot is sloshing around in a shoe. I have a pair of Franco Sarto black booties that I pretty much wear all fall and winter. It has a nice stacked heel which adds to the comfort level of the shoe.

I really like the NR - Kimber bootie. Cute.
I think those are my favorite. I keep going back to them.
I've got my eye on the Frye Reinas. As soon as I finish unpacking I'm heading to Nordstrom to try them on.
I wish Fryes were in my budget. But alas no. I'm only willing to spend that much on shoes that I will wear to DEATH. (like my knee high brown boots. Borns.) I'm not sure that booties fall into that category for me. Yet.
I went for it on the NR Kimber pair. I also ordered some new tights. And a random cute black and white patterned wrap dress. And some hair ties to round out my order for free shipping.
Now I just need a full length mirror at home so I can actually see how they look when they show up.

I have this dress (in several colors!) and I wear it with darker brown boots and navy tights. I have topped it with an olive green jacket, lime green sweater and a dark pink sweater.

I like the subtle dealing of this boot. Toulah Boot
I really like both of these. Particularly the second one. I'm really wishing I had an excuse for multiple pairs of booties now. I want those tassle ones NitaX posted in gray and these. ALL THE SHOES. (no. just one shoes. *sigh*)
