Both my kids got them a couple weeks ago at my daughter's well check. My son was pissed because he thought he was in the clear for that appointment. I was shocked because our pedi never has them this early, and you usually have to sell your soul to get a clinic appointment on shot nights. I will get mine in Oct at work and H usually goes to CVS or something to get his.

I'm getting mine tomorrow at work. My kids will get theirs in a couple of weeks at my son's annual checkup. DH will get his whenever they do a clinic at his work.
I will admit that I used to skip this one but I get it every year since I had kids.
Dh will get his at his oncologist next week. I'll get mine the first day of my employer's shot clinic.
Everyone get one. Please don't make me rage out on here this year.
Would you like to come help me rage out at work? I'm one of the few who gets them because some of them "just don't like shots" or "they make my arm hurt" or "I get sick *if* I get the shot, but if I don't get it I never get sick." And then most of them are sick anyway.
I think our work clinic is like the 2nd week of Oct. I'll get mine then and dh usually gets his at work or stops into CVS.
Ugh I hate this. I pass out cold every single time I get the flu shot. I don't know if it's an allergy or what. They have to lie me down and have the ice packs and oxygen ready for me beforehand. I wish they would get the mist. Can you get the mist at CVS or places like that?
There are a lot of restrictions with the mist. You can't have it if you have certain illnesses / diseases, are around newborns, elderly, etc. You can actually pass the virus on during a small window of time - especially if you have contact with these people. I have cardiac problems and asthma, and my doctor wouldn't give the mist last year. They were out of shots, and I wasn't proactive in getting it somewhere else. Then tested positive for the flu.

I'm on the list to get mine at work on the 10th, plus pneumonia vax in my infectious disease doc's office soon after. Heading into flu season in a major metro area with a chronic pulmonary infection and compromised lung function is scaring the bejeezus out of me.
I love that my pharmacist mentioned it to me as soon as it arrived. Unfortunately, I'm still unprotected as I was in a major rush that day and left for vacation 2 days later.

I legit told my Dad I would only be in with him proposing to this current girlfriend if she got the flu shot. Since she insists on hugging every damn soul she comes across and tried to tell me "I prefer to just get the flu and build up my antibodies naturally." While I was seven months pregnant.
I work at a hospital and we are all required to get them even though I have zero contact with patients. I'd get one anyhow but this way it's free! I'm out on ML but plan to stop by work to get it soon.
Does anyone know if you can get the regular shot while breastfeeding? Or do you need the one you get while pregnant? My pharmacist seems to be lacking competency on flu shot protocol.
DH and I got ours last weekend. Work doesn't do their clinic until late Nov most years, and that's just too damn late imo. Plus I got a $20 coupon for groceries out of it. Win, win.
We're required to get them at work but they don't start until next month and the deadline to have it done is in December. Every year I feel like they should really start earlier.

I got mine at work on Monday. I've gotten mild cases of the flu (or a similar virus) the last two years, and it was awful. I don't even want to know what would happen if I got full-blown flu.
DD got the mist last year, and I wouldn't do it again. She had nearly every single side effect and was miserable for a week. She has her 4 year old visit on Monday and will get the shot if they have it.
