Um, not really in this sense. My mom is SUPER into it. Like, goes to a psychic regularly and uses her advice to base real life decision, thinks SHE IS psychic, and reads and whole heartedly absorbs everything Sylvia Brown writes. And she BSC. Have you ever tried to have a logical discussion with someone who believes they know more from the other side?
On the other hand, I'm a Roman Catholic and regularly pray for the intercession of the saints...
No I do not. I believe that anything "paranormal" can be explained rationally.
I've never heard a story that convinced me. Any ghost stories I've heard have involved people being asleep or half asleep at the time of the sighting, or it was an unexplained noise in the basement (probably easily explained if the answer is sought), or it was just a "creepy feeling" they had or its a friend of a friends cousin so I automatically discount it.
stuff like "psychic predictions", when correct (very rarely) I consider simple coincidence.

Not really a past-lives story, more of a connecting-with-spirits story...
A couple of weeks after I had DS1, I was rocking him in his bedroom late at night. I was feeling frustrated and upset with myself for having this kid and was thinking, what had I done? I had no business being a mom, and now I've ruined my life and this baby's life. Really down-in-the depths, PPD stuff. Suddenly, I felt a real push on the rocking chair, like someone was standing behind it and pushed it forward to make it rock faster. I didn't hear anything but I felt my grandmother there. It was like she was saying, you've got this. You're going to be fine. Now DO it!
Ten years later, DS and I are leading pretty happy lives.
