Another thing DH does that annoys me:
Propositions me for sex at 2am, then huffs and puffs when I turn him down (um, hello, it's 2AM and I've been asleep for hours!). Then in the morning, claims he "was sleeping" and doesn't remember the incident at all...

My 3 year old was up like a newborn last night (3 am, 4 am, brought him to our bed at 5 am) and now I have bloodshot eyes with dark circles and bags. I have a huge presentation with my VP later this morning, so I dressed up all nice in a skirt suit, makeup, hair, the works but I look like death.
Why do they pick the worst times to do this to us?! I am chugging coffee now so I hopefully don't start yawning during the meeting.
First was at my daycare. I had my daycare provider's daughter in my class 2 years ago and her son is the same age as DD, so besides being my daycare provider I know her well and get along great. So they had gone out early this morning to get me donuts for my birthday. I ate it there with them.
My team always does treats when it's someone's birthday and they got me a chocolate glazed donut since they know I like those. So they came in my classroom singing and then we all sat around and chatted as we ate the donuts.
THEN, another coworker brought me a caramel cheesecake. That's in the fridge though and won't be touched until tonight at home. Oh and I have almost an entire DQ cake in my freezer at home since we celebrated my birthday before DH went out of town. So if I gain 10 pounds this weekend alone, at least I'll know why right?!

So our first trip with the baby is a giant fail so far. We allowed a lot of extra time and still missed our flight, mostly due to an extremely long security line. We've now not made it onto two standby flights, but we're confirmed on a flight that gets into Boston at 6:52, 9 hours later than originally planned. Thankfully we brought the stroller so she has a place to nap.
I've been stalking Craigslist for storage for our basement play room, and found the huge 5 cube by 5 cube Ikea Expedit shelving unit in white for $75. It's 6 feet tall and 6 feet long, and I have no idea how DH and I are going to get it into our basement without taking it apart. We do have a walk out basement, but we will also have DD with us. Maybe MIL will come over and watch her so we can do it. We get to go pick it up tomorrow, I'm so excited to start getting that room together! Now I'm in search of a large colorful rug to go over the ugly but very plush and nice green carpet.
DH and I were up waaaay too late last night watching all the celebrations as the Royals won their game and clinched the AL Central.
I had a great morning planned and DS1 had thrown up nothing three times. I can't have him go to preschool and I tried three sitters with no success. This was a big brunch this morning that I've been working towards and I'm on the board of the club. I'm disappointed. Plus my DH was already at work and said, 'that's part of being a mom.' I get that, but dude, I'm disappointed.
DH knows he is not allowed to say things like this or I lose my shit. I'm sorry, teatime.
I am so tired today. I haven't been sleeping well anyway and then DD woke up a couple hours earlier than usual. DH is working overtime so he won't be home until late.
DD is obsessed with Kung Fu Panda. We have watched the movies so many times over the past few days. I am so over it. I want Daniel Tiger back, lol.
I just ate the largest bowl of cereal (Cinnamon Toast Crunch!) Ever. And refilled it when I had some milk left.
My favorite dinner (about once a week) is Cinnamon Toast Crunch with chocolate cheerios. There are some nutrients in there somewhere.
Day three of WAH- yeah Pope and normally schedule WAH. Meeting pippa for lunch.
We got M a dinosaur costume because he has been really into them lately. Now the last two nights he has been freaking out at bed saying "I am afraid of the dinosaur" . Hope he gets over it in the next month.............
I am really confused about the Pope's schedule & how Philadelphia fits into it. He's here in NY now, seems to have just come from DC, and I *think* is going to Philly this weekend. Yet my Philly friends have news of this week's "Popecation" all over their news feeds (FB). So, schools and some work places closed there before the Pope actually rolled into town or have I completely mistaken the timeline?
I just looked up the average salary for my company (in my very general role) and I'm ~$35K off the average. Now, that is impacted by most employees being in a H/VHCOL (I am not) but holy Jesus it's worse than I thought.
DH is driving me crazy. I should have included this in the "irritating thing" thread. He never evaluates a project before he starts. He just jumps right in, and every SINGLE TIME he's partially through (with parts everywhere) before he realizes he needs a tool he doesn't have, necessitating a trip to Home Depot. He took the day off today to move DD's furniture from our room to her room. I was VERY SPECIFIC about when her main awake time is, so he'd know what time he has available to dismantle the crib. And OF COURSE he didn't evaluate the job, gets partially done, and realized he needs a tool and has to go to Home Depot. And he's irritated I made him put the crib back together so I could put DD down for a nap before he left.

Yeah, I got pissed. He's suppose to come home early to miss the mess at Penn tonight. I think I'm going to go get a mani-pedi and leave the kids with him. And at 10:00 a.m. DS1 peeped up and has been acting fine. Go figure.
