I'm away from my desk for four hours and now there's like 35 pages to read. I don't have time!

Also I forgot my pump bra.

Went apple picking with Ben's class. We drove but they took the bus. Everyone under three had a carseat on the bus so it's possible. This (yellow school) bus had seatbelts FWIW. Here's some pics.

What's everyone else up to?  Is there any drama in the long threads or just lots of replies?

I feel you on the not being able to keep up in here! I am home today and this day so far has been one of those that makes me feel like a horrible mom. I never feel like I can fully concentrate on being a good SAHM on Fridays. There is all this built up stuff from Mon - Thurs that needs to be wrapped up with an email here and a phone call there and I can't do it because DD is annoying me every 90 seconds. I finally get some of that under control and we go out to the mall 6 minutes from our house. She has a huge puke on the way home. The aftermath after I dragged the car seat, the toddler and the shopping bag back to our apartment was very ugly. Screaming from both of us. I got her to eat something and tossed her in the crib where she screamed longer than usual but is finally asleep.

Now I need to wrap up the rest of my emails and phone calls, eat something and pick things up a bit before she wakes up. I can't concentrate and really read any of the long threads until she goes to bed tonight!

I went to my moms group this morning which is always good. I'm going to pick up DS early from daycare to get him fitted for his tux for my brother's wedding. He will look so adorable!!

@mrsbecky we've been getting a ton of inquiries about the possible shutdown. Ugh. And I may be essential this time.

More bad news from our buyer. I told DH to call our lawyer to draft a letter of breach of contract. (Thank God for his legal plan at work.) But apparently he and realtor have worked it out and the buyer is supposed to close Tuesday evening.

I feel so bad for our neighbors. They were so sad we were leaving and now they're going to have a horrible neighbor.

Yes! That was my reaction at first! I admit I like a lot of 1989, particularly the upbeat songs, so when I heard him whining one of them at half-tempo, I was confused. But after awhile it sort of grew on me. I'm still not sure I like it, though.

I'm guessing TS doesn't care because it brings her attention either way. But it's weird to me that a legit artist is selling an album that's all covers.

Someone on FB just posted a 3D ultrasound picture of an 8 week old fetus. I Had no idea they did 3D utrasounds that early. It is a little blog with appendages. So crazy

I appear to be having an allergic reaction to something they used at the dentist yesterday. I have hives inside my mouth against my gum line, swollen, with some rash on the outside of my cheek too. It sucks!
I think it must be the lidocaine, because if it was the novacaine it wouldn't be so local, right?
What kind of doctor do you see to determine skin allergies? Dermatologist? PCP?

I'm putting in for a day off soon where I will send my kids to daycare and have the day to clean the house with no one in my way. It's sad how excited I am for this.
