(((Preppy))) I'm impressed you traveled at 9 days pp!
I knew it was really important to DH but it is a lot more than I can handle emotionally. I didn't realize how tough it would be. I told them it's her bedtime and we went to bed. She has no bedtime clearly but I was done. We are leaving mid day immediately after we make the great grandparent rounds.

Pp emotions are a hard thing to predict. So you don't feel bad I'll share a story.
After DS1 I invited my MIL to visit 3 days pp (she arrived 5 days pp). Everything was ok the first day but I LOST IT on here the second day. Like so bad she left town to go back home. I thought I was ok but I was still so sensitive. Now she is nervous to come visit us this time and is waiting to see how my moms visit goes before coming down.

We just entered hour 17 of our travel debacle, which was supposed to be a 2 hour flight plus a 3 hours car ride. At least poor DD is sleeping for the drive portion so far.
I'm really BEC with MIL. First she's trying to help by picking up DS at daycare after work but does everything I don't want Her to do- let DS watch TV, give him snacks after work so he doesn't eat dinner, and generally annoy the f out of my 9 month pg hormonal mess.
Then she complains or assigns some symptom (sick, tired, whatever) if DS is whiny. Um, no. He's an asshole sometimes because he's 2. Oh andplusalso you let him watch before bed.

We are on day three of M being sick. The only symptom he has is an extremely high fever. He woke up with 104.7 fever this afternoon. I hope he is better tomorrow.
About three weeks ago I started doing a thing where I immediately put clean clothes away after I've folded them, rather than setting them in a laundry basket for several days like I usually do. It's seriously life changing and seems so ridiculous that it would have such a big effect.
I've also seen the brilliance in doing at least one load of laundry every few days during the week, start to finish. It makes me feel so much less buried on the weekend!
Omfg the poop stalling before bed is the wooorst. I mean, he actually poops on the potty which is great but seriously he can keep squeezing crap out for 20+ minutes just to delay bedtime.

DH is away this weekend. I got food delivered (yay gluten!) and ate ice cream while watching scandal and Grey's. This night would be perfect if I didn't have to share my bed with 90 lbs of dog.

My stepmom took the back way (IDK why) to avoid the major highway and they won't be here until 10. At least DS2 is still napping and should be up soon to eat.
I just want to close on selling our house. We have to wait until Monday when the buyer does yet another walk through. I can barely eat, neither of us is sleeping and I can't talk about it without crying.
This was supposed to be a good weekend. Disney on Ice tomorrow, seeing my college BFF Sunday and all I can think about is this shitty buyer.

I'm sorry. I'm such a Debbie downer lately.
You have ALOT going on. Don't feel bad about venting.
My dcp remembered my offer to pay a fee to hold DD2's spot way back in May (I told her to think it over and get back with me with a number). Boo. I didn't feel bad because all the other kids are part time (some only two days a week, so not a ton of income there) but it is only fair. I offered $100 / week until the baby started which she accepted (I will pay $200 / week for full time care).
I am definitely drawing from savings for my maternity leave now, sigh.
I'm confused about the math here. Is this $100/week starting NOW or when the baby is born? Or maybe you're closer to your due date than I realize and it's all the same?

My back hurts so much. My sister just reminded me that delivering dd completely fixed my back troubles last time (to way better than pre preg). Yay! I totally forgot.
We just heard from the moving company and they are reimbursing the full cost of replacing the PS4 that went missing and the broken griddle. I should have put down it cost more than it did to replace them
It's almost midnight and I can now finally catch up on GBCN. Since we seem to be back to our regularly scheduled program here, at least I have two more seasons of OINTB to go. Poor DD has a cough and runny nose that has now lingered for over 2 weeks and is now miserable. We have a pedi appointment tomorrow. I hope they can give something to toddlers for cough.
My mom and dad are divorced. My mom is remarried. My mom and step-dad went on a double date with my dad and a woman he is dating tonight. DH insists that he doesn't think it is at all weird. It is pretty weird, right?
All three of us have bad colds plus the baby has a fever due to his shots today. I pulled the RNP back out to try to keep him inclined tonight. Normally he sleeps 7:30-5:30, but it is is almost 11:30 and he is wide awake and staring at me silently in the dark. It's kind of creepy.
