On my best day, 5.5oz from the morning pump. It was usually more like 3.5-4 until I went back to work and then lost a parent. I managed to work full-time while pumping bfing until 12 months, but it helped that dd never took a lot. She's always been a peanut.
Once we hit the 12 month mark and I was able to stop pumping and BF "just for fun", my life got significantly less stressful. Still going strong.
Almost 12 and it only happened once. Most morning my best pump was like 9 - 10. A few months into pumping, I bought a bunch of Gerber bottles to supplement the Medela bottles to EP. I bought some of the 9 oz bottles thinking I would need them when my boobs pumped more than 5 oz each and when DD started drinking more than 5 oz. Neither of those things ever happened. I wound up using the 9 oz bottles to transport WCM around.

I had an oversupply.
My AM pump was routinely 15-16oz for several months. Caramini STTN fairly early and I leaked every night until she was 6 months. I was routinely so engorged that she could not latch and I would pump 10-12oz at 4:45AM so that I could work out and not be in horrible pain.
I also had one super-producer boob and one lazy one, so one would be like 5 oz, and one would be like 10-11oz.

20 oz. we were at Disney and I skipped the evening session because I was tired and had a massive headache. I woke up soaking wet, the bed was wet and then I got 20 oz.
I regularly pumped 10-12 oz. each session when I first went back to work after having DD and cut off the pump before the flow stopped on it's own. I think I was able to get 8oz from each side the few times I pumped until empty, but it was all a long time ago.
With DS, I always stopped pumping at the exact amount he was taking in bottles because I was paranoid about encouraging oversupply. This was before I discovered the tongue-tie and ended up needing to rely a lot more on pumping until he had his revision.
Holy shit. I am truly stunned at all the responses with double digit outputs. Jaw dropping.
me too. I really should stop reading the responses bc I'm just feeling bad about myself kinda.
But, we've supplemented with formula from the beginning (as we did with Noah), and I'm ok with it so I should just chill out lol.
Yeah I supplemented once I got my period back and my already tenuous supply dropped even more. I wish I could get all that time I spent agonizing over it back.
I just checked my record in the baby app, and it seems that 22 was my max. But 19-20 happened many times after I dropped to only pumping twice a day at work. Those of us pumping for two babies probably have a bit of an advantage here though.
This girl on my local mom's FB group regularly pumped 25ish oz PER PUMP and was an EPer.
She had thousands of frozen ounces she donated.
I always wonder about people like this. Are they in extreme pain from oversupply? How long does it take them to pump?
I usually stopped pumping after about 20 mins, but honestly at the peak of bfing I felt like I could keep pumping forever if I wanted. I was never in extreme pain, but my boobs did get hard sometimes. I have big boobs and I guess milk was where I got lucky. After the battle of TTC it felt like kind of a miracle that my body could do something right.
I had a preemie and was exclusively pumping for awhile and would get 12 ounces from each boob. It took a good 3 months to get it under control, and involved nipple shields and lots of pain and wet clothing. That part really sucked. (LOL pun).
24 oz when I missed pumping all day due to a work meeting. I was livid. I could have kept pumping, but needed to feed the baby an hour later. I almost quit my job over that incident.
My normal morning session ranged between 12-16oz depending on how well hydrated I was and if I fed the baby during the night. I'm closer to 10 now (11 months).
I've really struggled to manage oversupply issues. Even on the weekends I have to be very strict about staying on our normal pumping/feeding schedule.
I think I once pumped 12 oz when DD STTN for the first time at 9 weeks. She didn't do that again until she was about 14 months, LOL, so that was the end of that. I usually averaged 12 oz over three pumps in a workday, just barely keeping up with her demand.
Ha, I'm almost exactly the same. My highest was 11 ounces, but at night actually - I was stuck in traffic and didn't make it home in time for her to night feed (or to put her to bed, tear), so pumped that feeding. My usual at work is 11-13 ounces, which was not enough for her at 4 months, but since she started solids is actually more than she wants some days. She prefers real food without me, but nurses well when we are together.
I pumped 9-10oz a couple times I think but that was unusual. Like if I randomly skipped a work pump and they got REALlY full I'd pump a lot. But my body adjusted quickly, so when I was dropping a pump I got a lot the next pump but within a day it had adjusted and I got less again.
my babies didn't sttn until they were past 1 so there wasn't really that big morning pump though while I was on ML they slept better (pre- 4 month wakeful) and often I'd feed one side and pump the other in the am and get 4-5oz from that side.
