Our pedi office schedules flu shots as a nurse visit so they are very quick, in and out. I just schedule it as the first or last appointment of the day.
For me and MH, we just go to a pharmacy as a walk in and get it done since our insurance covers the cost and then we don't have to pay a copay.
I have it pretty good. Our pedi has a few flu shot clinics (nights and weekends) but we lucked out because DS had a 2.5 year well visit and was able to get it then. I got it from my OB at my 12 week visit. I would have to make an appointment to get one at my regular doc. MH's work does on site clinics so he has it pretty easy.
DH and I are easy. We'll see how hard it is to get one at the pediatrician. DS's next well visit isn't until Nov so I need to see what the other options are.
Being pregnant it was annoying because work wouldn't give me one, my OB ran out. CVS did but they didn't instill me with confidence when they were checking if they had the right thing.

I just scheduled them for the kids. DD needs a well visit next month anyway, and they will give DS a shot at the same time. They could also get them at school, but neither wanted to do so.
H and I will go to Target one day at lunch and get ours.
It's not too bad. I'm lucky because my oldest's well visits are at the end of August/early September and her pediatrician usually has the vaccine available by then so I make it a point to take all 3 kids with me to get their shot. If the doctor doesn't have the vaccine available at that time, I schedule an appointment for a Saturday so I can take them. I guess as a last resort, the public schools here offer the vaccine, but it's usually scheduled for October. As for H and I, well, we'll either go to the clinic at work or will go to CVS to get it.
Our pedi does open "clinics" every Saturday in October. You sign up for one and then show up whenever and you're in and out in 5 minutes. My older two are getting the mist next weekend (the office doesn't have mist yet or they would have gotten it at DD's well check). The baby got the shot at his well check last week.
DH gets it at work, I got mine in 5 minutes at the Kroger pharmacy last week while waiting for a refill. It was free with insurance.
No, the kids it's easy to schedule. This year I did the girls' at their 18 mos appt. And was able to get J in 2 days later. H will get his at work. I'll just go to a CVS or Walgreens to get mine.
I used to get mine at work but the clinic often isn't until mid November or later so I often go earlier.
