Type B in every way except with DS. I learned once in a Myers Briggs seminar that under stress people tend to act the opposite of their personality types. So a person who isn't into details suddenly is writing everything down and quoting statisics. That explained it for me.
By that definition Type A because I am competitive, high achievement oriented, etc....but I've always considered myself Type B because I'm not disciplined, organized or anal.
i am lolll at "enjoying the game regardless of winning or losing."
never has this EVER EVER applied to me.
type A, obvs.
This is my 3 year old. It is exhausting. He is really athletic and can do many things but if he can't do something will LOSE his shit!
Like he thinks he should be able to bounce a tennis ball on a racquet with one hand only. He gets mad if I cheer when he can't quite get it. Dude you're 3! Ease up!
Mine don't loose their shit but my DD1 & 2 (10 & 8yr olds) are always the only kids that tear up when they loose & take it really hard. They hate loosing & so do DH & I. DD3 does not give a shit...it's weird for me.

I never related to type A descriptions before because I think of being competitive and on the go and that's not me. But the impatience, being organized and time focused and stressed are totally me. I was raised in by B parents so I think I fight some of the tendencies too.
I'm a type A person in a type B body. I'm driven to succeed and love things to be organised, I just don't want to have to work very hard or organise shit myself. I've always chosen academic programs/my career based on what I'm really good at and what comes easily to me, so I get impressive results with minimal effort.
