Anything with insurance or billing. I hate calling companies.
I hate our village post office. There are three counter employees and two are awful and rude and condescending as fuck. It feels like being punked when they snap nasty responses to any question. Only one person works the counter at any given time and lines are long. The parking is a left turn off a busy street over bust freight train tracks. It's always a miserable experience.
I enjoy the post office. But I don't go very often so that might be why. The pharmacy is probably my most hated. It is such a quick in/out except when you need to cart 3 kids in and our pharmacy has you enter into the makeup area first. So many things to touch that I can't afford them breaking!
For those that don't have a grocery store that delivers do you have any personal shoppers in your area? My cleaning lady was telling me she has a girl that does all her grocery shopping, price matching and coupons and delivers it to her door for only $35!
I am a loser who likes errands in general, but I like them when I only have 1 kid. Lugging 2, especially for something quick, is the worst.
I'm like this too! I actually prefer taking either of my kids with me than going alone, but will completely rearrange my day to avoid going with both for most things. If I do have both, grocery shopping is by far the worst, followed by going to the pet store to get dog food (because I get a huge bag plus cans of dry food and it's always hard to maneuver getting it to the check out and car while kids are distracted by all the pets and things).

OMG I gave up going to the pet store over a year ago. Petco.com for the win. I use ebates, save money, wait for coupons and because of how much I buy I get free shipping. Then it sits on the porch until dh gets home and puts it away. I will never haul dog food around again.

I should look again...the last time I looked they didn't have the kind we buy online. But yeah, I buy enough that it would be free shipping and the coupons are always for the website only, so it would be awesome to make this errand an easy online thing.

Yes! I actually get lonely at the end of a solo shopping trip!

No offense, but you guys are weird.
My perfect afternoon/evening involves being totally alone. I honestly don't know what to do with myself when everyone leaves because the time feels so precious I don't know where to start. It almost paralyzes me.
Pretty much anything that involves taking all three kids in and out of the car in cold and rainy weather. It only happens for a short time here, but I loathe it.

I LOVE alone time at home. Like, that is the thing I want more than anything in the world for stuff like birthday, mother's day, whatever. Take my kids and leave the house so I can be alone. But if I'm going to have to be at the grocery store, I'm happy to have one of my kids there to talk to me, otherwise I end up talking to myself!

I am like that for the first bit of time, but then I miss them. Believe me, the pre-kid me NEVER would have felt that way, and IDK why it changed lol.
I'm with expectantsteelerfan alone at home? Heaven! Alone at the store? Lonely.
I enjoy grocery shopping with my kids. Our Store just started offering where you shop online and just drive up and they'll load it...I haven't done it because I LIKE going to the grocery with my kids. I also really enjoy Home Depot.
The ATT store is the worst. Worse than the bmv or the post office. So I second the calling companies to dispute bills. Ugh!!!
And meal planning. I don't mind actually doing the cooking, but coming up with what to make? Every.day. No thanks.

I just went grocery shopping by myself today after my first trip out with the kids resulted in my four year old full-on pissing his pants in the Sam's Club cart. I dropped all of them back off at home with daddy and went out to a store that I don't usually frequent. It was AWESOME. I browsed around for two whole hours just checking out all their options and planning meals in my head without having to remind anyone to walk with me or sit down or stop touching stuff. Seriously, so great.
