Also, date last night was really good. He picked me up at my door, with flowers, opened doors for me, walked me back to my door when we got back, and didn't try to get invited inside. Dinner was delicious, too.
Leather to end the insane amount of dog fur stuck to the seats. Either the Stockholm or the Landskrona (or whatever they call the karlstad these days). I like the lighter brown color the Stockholm offers vs the dark espresso color, but I'm worried it will make me go paint my whole downstairs (since the walls are fairly similar in tone)
ETA: current living room/wall color for the downstairs.
I LOVE the Stockholm in the natural/lighter brown color.

Your dog is adorable. I love that there is a nice dog bed to the left, but eh that's not comfortable enough. I want the couch. LOL
I want to snuggle the corgi. #missmystumpyunderfoot
The corgi is very cat-like: if he wants attention, he just barges right into your lap. If he wants to take a nap in peace, he will grumble if you even sit too close to him.
I Love Corgis they are awesome. They do shed enough that you'd think they are making an effigy of themselves though.

The corgi is a non-shedder compared to the chow
And the dogs will both rotate through their seating options - on the couch for 15 min, over to one of the dog beds for 5 (there are 1-2 in every room. Some fluffy, some orthopedic foam, etc. LOL), flop onto the hard floor and give out a long-suffering sigh, then repeat the process. It's very mean of us not to provide just the right surface for our little Goldilocks.
I need shoe help. I bought a new pair of black pumps for my concert at the end of October. But, we found out on Thursday we will have to exit the stage while singing and I am pretty sure I'll fall due to the skinny heel on my new shoes (which is sad because they're awesome). So, can you ladies help me find a pretty, black pump, with a 2 1/2 - 3 1/2" chunkier heel? Preferably $50 or less (have to buy a new bra too which will be $$). Thanks!

I am still catching up from my trip. I just spent 45inites reading through posts that I didn't read while I was gone and like a billion things. Now that my boss will be here in about 5 minutes, all I have time to do is a quick "hi everybody!" *waves*

I was wondering how you were doing! When you've got a second, I'm curious how DS did while you were gone.

He did really well, actually. I got a phone call from the principal while I was gone, but it was really more of a funny "we had this conversation, and here's why" thing. Xh was still a little under the weather (he is now trying to self diagnose gall bladder issues as the culprit), so his gf did most of the caretaking.
The day after I got home, ds told me he wanted me too go back to San Francisco so he could spend another extra night at gf's house and get presents when I come back. Lol

I'm glad it went well for him!! And your trip looked pretty amazing! Did you get some needed "me" time??
I am really getting tired of seeing the word "momprenuer" from these stupid women who are shilling MLM shit.
You are not an entrepreneur. Your shake, lip stick, jewelry selling shit, etc..... is not making you any money to live off of.
PLUS, I am tired of them using FB as a way to "get the word out" about whatever the eff they are selling. The point of sales is to, you know, sell it. And MLM sales work so much better when you do it personally, and expand past your personal circle of friends. No, just because we are friends, I am in no way interested in supporting you (and your upline) by purchasing your overpriced products. I don't pay this for coffee a day, and I certainly won't spend it on skincare. Nope. Same person sells the nail polish stickers, too. :shudder:
Exactly. I'm always "I work for plastic surgeons, if I want to pay that kind of money for product I am going to use the stuff the physicians go with."

margarita and doriswe the trip was amazing! The weather was perfect, the food was amazing, I learned so much at the conference too! I didn't get a whole lot of time to myself, because my boss was attached to my hip, but I snuck away a couple of times. ;-)
starrieskies I love the dress! You're pictures are awesome. I really enjoyed San Fransisco when I went. The old Worlds fair area was really neat. I went when I was in college with other Design majors and we had a blast. I would love to again now that I'm not as broke as a joke.
My random for the day: H and I started rewatching the X-files. I haven't watched it since I was really young. I remember thinking how "old" Fox and Scully were. Now I am their age in the show or older. :/

neonpink I was a little nervous about the neckline on the dress, but I really liked it. And I bought the necklace off a street vendor while we were there.

You look great and the neckline looks good on you. I love street jewelry. Most of my jewelry is from traveling. I actually have a bracelet made from a flattened spoon from SF.

I'm trying to figure out when I will be able to wear that dress again, honestly. It's pretty rare when I find a dress that makes me feel classy and sex at the same time, so it would be a shame to have it sitting in the closet gathering dust. Lol
