2.5 yo. We aim for bedtime by 8 pm or at least in the room with lights off, reading with a lamp and she wakes up around 6:45. We need to leave by 7:10 so usually I turn her light on around 6:30 and she will get up in the next 10 minutes. Sometimes on the weekends she will sleep in until 7:30. She naps at daycare and at home for around 2 hours.
We have really struggled this week. She has gotten up every night between midnight and 2 am for up to an hour just wanting attention, to play etc. She hasn't figured out her doorknob yet, but will rattle it loudly until one of us goes in there. I think she might be going through another growth spurt as she wants you to rub her ankles and knees.
B is 2y1m, we start getting ready for bed at 8:30, and he's usually out by 9-9:30. He's up between 7-8am depending on the day - usually 7:30. He doesn't have to be anywhere, we work from home and nanny comes to us. He naps for a good two hours in the afternoon, usually from 2:30-4:30.
He's starting preschool in January, that might be a bit of an adjustment - we'll probably need to wake him a little earlier, and they nap starting at 1pm...in cots...in an open room. I just can't wrap my head around how this is going to work
DD1 is 2 yrs, 9 months. She's in bed between 7:00-7:30 most nights and up between 6:00-6:30 (sometimes 7:00 if we're lucky). She usually wakes on her own, so we don't have to wake her for daycare most mornings.
ETA - She doesn't nap at home anymore, and only occasionally at daycare.
DS is just over 2. He goes to bed around 8:00-8:30pm and wakes up anytime between 7:30-9:00am, so there are days when I have to wake him up before preschool (two mornings a week). He naps around two hours sometime after lunch, so he averages around 14 hours a day.
2yrs exactly. Goes to bed around 7:30, wakes usually b/w 5:30-6:30, but anywhere from 4:15-7. I've only had to wake him twice maybe. He still takes one 2-3 hour nap everyday.
dd will be three in dec Bedtime goal: 7:30pm. Bedtime that's normally happens: 8pm Wakeup: 7am. She's normally up on her own between 6:45 and 7, regardless.
My kid sleeps less and wakes earlier than everyone else. Sigh
DS is 2.5 Bedtime is 8-8:30p, wakes 5:30-6a I rarely wake him for daycare - we leave around 7a Naps 1.5 hrs at daycare, usually less on the weekends (sometimes skips nap)
C just turned 3. He's recently pushed his bedtime to about 7:30 or so and that's fine with us, though he sometimes engages in potty dramatics that delay things.
He sleeps until about 7 most days.
He still naps every day, sometimes up to 3 hours on weekends.
DS is 27 months. Weekday bedtime is 8 and he gets up at 6:30. Weekend is 9 and he sleeps in until 9 or so. He also takes a 2-3 hour nap on the weekends and any weekdays he is with either myself or my ILs.
