speaking of, speaking of school emails, Jack's teacher sends one every Thursday and one mom ALWAYS hits reply all and it's always awkward and hilarious.
We have parent conferences twice a year at the kids schools. Just got an email that only half of the parents in DDs class have signed up for one. Seriously if you can't take 30 minutes to go to a conference for your kid I am judging you hard. All the times left would easily fit most working parents.
I manage to get my ass to 4 of those every year. Lucky for me DS2's is like 10 minutes of "look at all the As and 100% your kid got" but I still go because it's a thing you do as a parent. The school goes to so much trouble to make conference times work and the least we can do is show up.

We had a parent like that in preschool. I especially loved it when her email was begging the teacher to do whatever activity her kid missed again because she was so sad she missed it.
We don't have an email contact for the teacher this year. It sucks because if you have a concern your only option is to talk to the teacher at pick up and there's zero privacy because all 4 K classes are released at the same gate
