We are trying to plan a trip to Whistler with my siblings and some friends. We would like a rec for an MM place to stay that's in the town so we can walk to things. Anybody got any recs for a decent affordable places? I've been looking online but the choices are myriad.
Thanks
ETA: sorry for the typo in the title. Duh. LOL. We are trying to book for next Feb and my sister is looking now but I also usually do research so I wanted to have some suggestions since I'll see her tomorrow for Octoberfest
Update: Thanks for the recs everybody. My sister had been looking on airbnb without luck since they were all too far away from town but redredwine suggestion of VRBO has lots of good options. She's contacting the owners now.
We also decided to spend a few days in Vancouver, which apparently has lots of airbnb options and other places to stay. Does anybody have suggestions of fun winter activities in Vancouver or Whistler. We all love food and experiences although my husband, my brother and I are definitely more adventurous than my sister & BIL. None of us have ever been skiing so we will definitely try it. My husband is interested in the bobsled experience. My sister and I like ice skating. None of us are big shoppers but I do want to stop at the LLL store in Vancouver. We would love to do a night market type thing. Maybe some recs for chill places indoors to hang out in the evenings. I'm hoping you guys have some ideas since I've never even been in snow and have no idea how this will go. LOL.
It may seem minor, but it might help to edit the title so it actually says Whistler. I almost didn't click for that reason. I also stayed in a condo though, so I don't have a recommendation either.

We stayed at the Executive Inn in the Village. It was relatively inexpensive and pretty decent, although the trek to our room was odd (elevator, down a hall, through a doorway, down some stairs).
