What's going on, ladies? Question -- where are you noticing weight gain? I assumed I would be pregnant in my butt/thighs because that's where I carry extra weight. I feel like outside of my belly, I'm gaining in like a band around my boobs -- just the upper arms, not shoulders, and mid/upper back. Very weird! What about you?

My weight gain was pretty much belly and butt/thighs, the belly has gone down pretty nicely but I have some work to do on my butt/thighs before I will be back in my jeans. Whomp whomp.
I think my weight gain is primarily belly. Maybe a litt in the boobs. I think my butt and thighs are relatively the same size (I hope!)
we took today off of work and I have a prenatal massage in a few hours. I'm so excited. We had an awesome date night last night to dinner and the symphony. I'm feeling like this may be the last time we get to do this just the two of us.

I did read that fat stores for breast feeding are most commonly stored in the butt/thighs so hopefully that helps your supply!

My supply is already bananas so maybe my ass is coming in handy! Lol.
I've actually lost weight but I feel like my boobs are huge. Like, they impede my vision when I walk lol
We told my ILs that the baby is a girl. MIL was thrilled. FIL said we have to try for a boy right away. SIL said we can't let her play softball because it will "turn her into a lesbian" and we can't have anything pink because SIL doesn't like pink. And H wonders why I don't want to see these people!

Our next door neighbor said this to me too. ^o) People are idiots, that's all I've got.
As far as weight gain, people have commented that I'm "all belly," and mostly I am. But I developed thigh chub rub in late summer that I never had before, so clearly there's some thigh weight gain too. My boobs went up about 1 cup size.
I'm really struggling with keeping my sugars perfect on my GD diet so I don't have to go the insulin route, and am having trouble eating enough calories now. I've lost 4 lbs. in the last week. I know that's bad and I'm trying to reverse the trend.
Like I need more stress in my life, my bridesmaid dress for next weekend was altered at 30 weeks to account for me to have GROWN like a normal 30-34 week pregnant lady. I don't have it to try on, and am worried about how losing weight will affect fit.
bcv513 I wish you could see my face. It's a mix of disgust and confusion as to how people can be so...ridiculous.
I am only 15 weeks and I think I've gained about 3 lbs so I can't really say where it is yet. I gain weight everywhere, so I suspect that is what will happen.
Also, at my first appointment they scared me when they talked about weight gain, so I am really paranoid. It's something I've struggled with my entire life and now I am hypersensitive to it. My mom offered to give me a scale back that I bought her to track her fluid/weight gain after her heart attack. I already bought another one and thanks mom for making me more paranoid about getting fat. Sigh.

Huge WTF to your SIL.
I could seriously go on for days about her. It's at the point where I basically just ignore her now. And then she complains to my H that I don't like her.
I can't stand to wear basically all of my pants right now because I hate having anything put pressure on my stomach. It's frustrating because I haven't gained any weight yet but I've effectively sized myself out of all my pants. I hope I get over this phase soon.
My weight gain seems to be all in the belly and a bit in the boobs...but then I Noticed. My thighs rubbing a bit the other night, so I guess there too.
I'm so tired today. We took dds to the fair last night and I think I did too much walking. And eating of crap.
I think I've only gained about a pound at 15 weeks. My boobs feel huge and my belly feels like it is growing every day. Someone told me yesterday I don't look any different though.
Allergies are terrible. I was up all night itching, sniffling, and sneezing.
I have a short day today and it's a field trip to corn maze/pumpkin patch with one of my schools. Should be fun!

I've gained in my belly and legs/butt. I don't even really like looking at my legs because they are looking so different.
My vent is totally irrational and I know that. I just wish I knew when the baby was going to come. I'm a planner and I know my world is about to be rocked, which stresses me out. I have things to wrap up for work and have no idea what my timeline is. It's like that feeling you get when you wait to hear if you got a job. They tell you "oh, you'll probably hear by XYZ" and then you sit around waiting for weeks.
I am not loving having a cold while pregnant. I'm petrified to take anything. I thought tumeric milk for my cough would be a safe alternative until I googled it. Even having a doctor tell me to take Flonase hasn't helped. Yes, I recognize I'm a crazy person.
DH's grandmother's funeral is tomorrow. We have an 11 hour drive to get there. DH is also sick, but he has drugs the jerk. For extra fun, I had insomnia last night and DH had a cough that kept him up, and we'll be driving into the east coast rainstorms. I see nothing that can go wrong here.
I lost 20+lbs in the beginning and have gained a tiny bit back. I'm still 15lbs less than I weighed pre-pregnancy. My boobs are ridiculous though, they were big already (a DDD or G depending on brand) but it's seriously bananas. The smallest bra that fits me right now is an HH, I just ordered one in a JJ because I'm bursting at the seams of the J cup I bought. I have a tiny bump but nothing that you would think was pregnancy related if you didn't see me every day, I mostly look like I ate a burrito.
I haven't really been tracking but I know it's time for new pants. Yesterday I had a meeting and the stretchy skinny jeans would not fit around my waist. Now that I hit the 20 week mark, everything doesn't fit right.

Yes, definite weight gain in the thighs/butt! I had to order new underwear. :? It must be all those milk stores - you know, the ones currently leaking from my nipples? Haha. My weight fluctuations usually all happen in my belly, so it's new having it in the thighs. I'm definitely getting thigh chafing when I wear skirts. Body Glide is my friend.
I'm a scant 7.5 weeks and I've gained 5lbs. Given everything we have going on, I've had absolutely no time to exercise. And the nausea has turned up the dial in the last week, so I'm constantly eating in order to avoid puking. Oddly, I feel like all of my weight gain has been in my arms and upper body. My boobs are like rockets too-- huge!
@bcv13, your SIL is nuts, I'm sorry. (I mean your FIL doesn't sound much better, but he pales in comparison, ha) I feel like I'm gaining weight everywhere. Belly, butt, thighs, boobs. At least I'm proportionate...? My vent: I'm so cranky today, My poor H can't do anything right, I just feel ornery with him all the time. Also people keep telling me I look tired. Thanks, you look great too, ya jerk!
bcv513, I'm sorry you didn't get anything but excitement and positivity. Horrible comments.
I'm right there with you on the back pain @abbycobb. I've been seeing a chiro to help with my unceasing headaches, and she suggested cat cow stretches. She also hooked me up with a support belt. Haven't had the opportunity to try it yet, but I'm hoping it helps.
I'm glad I'm in good company on the boob, butt, and thigh gain. I can't wear dresses two days in a row anymore because the chafing becomes unbearable. A few weeks ago I put on a blazer I've worn nearly weekly on a seasonal basis for a couple of years. It didn't fit in my upper arms anymore

My weight gain is noticeable in my belly and boobs (I bought new bras about 6 weeks ago and I think I'm outgrowing them again!), but I had to buy some new underwear because the thigh holes were tight, so some has definitely gone to my butt/thighs.
Weight gain is such a mindfuck. I'm not sure if it's made better or worse by not being given any guidelines; my OB says that since ACOG doesn't have guidelines for multiples (although obviously more than a singleton), we'll just see what happens.
Trying for #3; FET 8/18 -- BFN. Leaving things up to chance for now... After three years, three IVFs, and two FETs, we finally have our miracle babIES!
I haven't gained much weight at 17 weeks, but I think my weight has redistributed to my thighs, stomach, and boobs. I broke out the maternity pants even though they are slightly to big. They are just soo much more comfortable than trying to stuff myself into normal pants.
My husband and I went to speak at our alma mater, just over an hour away. We had stop both ways for HIM to go to the bathroom. Come on dude, you really have to pee more than the pregnant lady?!

I was like this too. The bloat was for real. I looked bigger at 10 wks than 14! It evened out for me, but I never got back to my regular pants. I can't stand the pressure on my stomach.

At 16 weeks, I'd gained a total of 6 lbs. Apparently last month, I inhaled everything insight because I gained 10 in one month. My OB says he really doesn't care too much how much I gain because the body will do what it needs.
It doesn't help though when my mother keeps reiterating how she only gained 14 lbs with both of us, so there is no need for me to gain more. Thanks mom.
I've gained 30 pounds so far at 36 weeks. It's really all belly and boobs. I was kind of hoping some would go to my butt, because I have very little there. But that doesn't seem to be the case. I don't feel like I've gained 30 pounds, but the scale doesn't lie.
We moved into our new house today! No more hotel living! And we finally were able to bring the dogs home from the kennel they've been staying at since we got here. They are confused and out of sorts, but happy to be with us again. Now to get into a new routine, only to screw that up and start over again when this baby shows up at the end of the month!
