I know it's only October, but Christmas is going to be really rough for her. What does J want for Christmas? I would love to lighten her load at that time of year.
Hey - am I correct in that the Easy Bake mixes are for easy bake ovens and not regular ovens? Is this the correct brand? I just wanted to make sure before I purchased.

I know she is Jewish. I don't know if she celebrates Christmas.

Good call, I wondered about that. We can still give that little guy a good holiday, regardless.
Some of you are more polite than I am. I don't think I could find the energy to write thank you cards in this situation and I certainly wouldn't expect one.
It's not to send thank yous to us. WHen you have a death in the family, usually the surviving family have people they want to thank - those who send flowers for the service or make donations to charities, if they bring food to the house - whatever they do. I wrote over 100 when my mom died. As part of the funeral home services (included in your charges) they typically provide thank you cards and envelopes but the postage does add up.
However, will the shipping box have our names on a From label?? I don't send Amazon gifts often.
I am fairly certain the sender's name shows up on the gift receipt. Perhaps someone could set up a GoFundMe account so those who prefer to donate anonymously can do so?

Oh Ok Thank you. I think I'm not going to sweat it at this point you know
If you erase the autopopulated gift message completely, a note pops up underneath saying something about leaving no note will make the gift anonymous.
No name appears on the gift receipt or the box -- I've had family forget to put a name on the gift note and had to sleuth out who sent the package.
Where is the best place to donate? I've seen people mention duplicates on Amazon but I see godundme takes a fee. I just want to make sure I can help as best as I can.

I haven't read through all the messages in this post but I'm blown away by the support in this post and in the other posts. This whole time since I was on a quest to find a family after my Mom died I didn't realize I had such a big one spread (kevin arnold) so wide and far away. I'm humbled by the out pouring of support and love.
I did laugh about Karma Luv. Sounds like her life is a bit more interesting than mine right now. :-)
Thanks again for setting this up, lots of hugs to Karma and J.
Side note: I saw mention of sending J messages, notes, etc from fellow gcbn kids, if Karma is open to that,I know my DD (8 yr old) would love to send him a pen pal type letter. Maybe someone could PM me/us a point of contact address to send too or whatever if that would be appropriate/okay.
Would anyone like to know what's been sent already from the wishlist? I can put a list in the OP. Then if you have other suggestions, I can add those as well.

You can sort the list by items purchased, not purchased and both.
I'm so proud to be part of this community. We may not always get along, but we back each other up. Like a true dysfunctional family I love you guys!
