I'm up and getting ready to go ride 50miles. I was supposed to be out the door by now but I've only just gotten started doing all the stuff. I want to rest today.... But this will be good.
Feel better @vtcupcake. My kids bith got chest colds in the last couple of days so in sure I'll be right there with you after the incubation period . Sorry about your funk CallingAllAngels. I Hope you are feeling better soon.

I only got sort of turned around twice in my run. It was going so well then I stepped in a puddle/lake around mile 4 and that wasn't fun. But I made it and didn't have to call for help!
I've been up for about an hour with the boy. My wife worked last night so she's still in bed. I'm really sore from my half but of course it's as nice out today as it was miserable yesterday, so I'm trying to convince him we should do something outdoors. So far he's not buying it. Maybe if I tell him the other option is cleaning his room...
Lying on the couch with dd3, who still doesn't understand sleeping in. I'm dressed to go do some easy recovery, but I'm worried about my hip and IT and lawd, I'm still sore from my run Friday. It's perfect weather though, so I should go.
I am waiting in line for my finisher shirt, which may take me as long as running the race. I fucking killed it, you guys! 10:41 overall pace and I felt great the entire time.
I'm up getting ready to volunteer at the food tent for the wineglass. I was okay with not running this year until yesterday but this will be fun handing out food and drinks afterwards. Good luck everyone!
What part of the tent were you in? I just got home from the race, the weather ended up being perfect.

Just finished the hot chocolate 15k. Did well and the weather was amazing (overcast and 50). Chocolate fondue at the end was great too lol. Pretty cool medal!

Just finished a marathon. Ran terrible but not surprising for the injury issues I've had this cycle. Ended up running the whole thing (first time doing that!) so I had the endurance, just not the speed.
jene -- you did so awesome!!! Welcome back to racing. Congrats! How is the race atmosphere? Everything went ok? Cheering for @mn06, she looks strong & steady through 30K!

Everything went great, no disruptions that I know of.

Good luck everyone else!
Congrats on making it through! Take care of yourself and hope you heal up well.

I was handing out bags. Right in the beginning. I'm so glad the weather held out for you guys! Nice job!!
I don't know if the timing got funky but chw57 hit 26.2 in 3:23:50
You killlllled it lady!! Congrats!!!
I was just coming here to say this!! Her final finish time on the website is showing as 3:26:59! When she posted her goal time the other day I chuckled (because based on the speed work times she had been posting lately, I had a feeling she would murder that goal.) I was correct! Simply amazing!
ETA: I don't THINK she's broken 3:30 before, so not only is it an amazing time, and an unbelievable post-baby time, but she also has a nice PR!! I'm in awe.

You are a rockstar! Did A give you any tips before the race yesterday congrats on a fantastic race!!
Ha, yes. He reminded me of the importance of carbs (goldfish) . He also faked me out when I got home and acted like he was going to hug me until he saw my medal and then pulled it off of me. So, obviously, it's all about the bling with him.
