We went all the way out to costco, and then Patrick told me he didn't want pork tacos. Pretty much the whole point of going to costco was to get pork. We're too broke to buy a bunch of shit right now, so it was a total waste of time, and we left with nothing. Chicken and beef prices aren't very good there, compared to our grocery store.
lolaburns, I hope I'm remembering this correctly, but didn't you rave about a veggie chopper at one point? If this really was you, which one was it?
[br I'm not Lola, but I have the Vidalia chop wizard from bed bath and beyond...and it works pretty well. (I'd try to link it but I'm still trying to figure things out on the new phone....)
Why do the last 2-3 minutes of football games take for.ever? Mh is watching the game at a friends house and I'm ready to tag out of parenting. The last few minutes of the game has taken 15-20 minutes instead of 2-3 like the clock says!
I'm proud of myself. My H convinced me to take a personal day Tuesday so I can sleep/read/recooperate with no one else here. It's totally not something I would normally do, but I'm struggling with exhaustion. So I actually put in the absence. H even said e was going to check in on me to make sure I haven't put real clothes on before noon.
Today turned out to be a really nice day! H and I were able to have a mini-date in the afternoon - frozen yogurt and a long walk around a park. Then H, FIL, and I went kayaking for a couple of hours. The weather was so nice and the water was calm so it was pretty relaxing!

Ugh. Something is up with W. He was asleep/nursing for an hour and woke up crying about 9:00. He wouldn't nurse and just keep crying. I tried burping him and that didn't seem to be it. I got ready for bed since he was already crying which is what normally happens. He cried all that time with H. I tried nursing him again and he still didn't want it. I took him into his room and tried rocking, bouncing, singing, and shushing. Finally I turned on the white noise on his sound machine and rocked him and he finally stopped. So I rocked him for a bit then tried to lay him down. No such luck. More rocking and after he fell asleep that time I decided I would just carry him back to my bed so I could sleep. Then he started fussing again. I finally got him to nurse and now he's asleep but still latched. I have a feeling it's going to be a long night.
