I got back on Tinder after taking a few months off. I'm pleasantly surprised at some of the people on there. I started talking to a guy who seems pretty cool, so we'll see. I had more action on there in 2 days than I have in a month on Match.
DS doesn't have school on Friday but DD does, so I think I'm going to go do fun things with him without his sister around! I cannot remember the last time it was just the two of us, so it should be a good day!
I'm obsessed with Scream Queens. Seriously, it's so freaking hilarious and inappropriate! If you haven't seen it, please go watch it and love it with me, m'kay?
doriswe match is a strange place, isn't it? I've found guys who are on both match and Tinder are more likely to respond on Tinder. Welcome back to the online dating world. I hope it goes well.
Speaking of online dating, I think eharmony needs to let me retake the quiz you do when you sign up because I just figured out that they think I'm an extrovert and honestly 2/3 of the guys I met from them have been definitely NOT good matches for me. And they keep sending me matches who live 75+ miles away because apparently I don't match with anyone in my area?

I think all dating sites need to revamp their radius things...I know where I live and the people they match me up with are NOT in my 50 mile radius at all.

eharmony did that to me too! No, sorry I don't want to date a guy living in Baltimore when I'm in Ohio.
Sweet random! Leo was laying in my lap for a bit just now and I thought I felt something on my hand. He was so relaxed and happy laying with me that he was drooling! Awww
I might be scoring tickets to see Mythbusters in November. A friend at work bought tickets in May and then again yesterday. I told him I'd buy his extra ticket off him--he emailed this morning and told me I might be getting two.
I'm going on a little mini-vacation next week to the Smokey Mountains with Buddy. It's supposed to be peak foliage and I rented a really cute cabin for us to stay in. I'm very excited about getting away and just enjoying the quiet.

One of my coworkers is there now. Her pictures on FB have been gorgeous. You're going to have so much fun!
I had a terrible time on EHarmony when I did online dating. The "matches" they had for me were just awful.
Hearing these kinds of things makes me feel better knowing it's not just me. No wonder they don't let you pay in shorter installments than a year!
Oh I was wrong, I've met 4 guys through eharmony, so their record is really 1/4. And new matches are nearly 100 miles away. Apparently eharmony wants me to move back by my parents.
No word yet, chalupa. Since the manager was gone on Friday, it makes sense. I'm not sure when they'll contact me next - just the time span (1-2 weeks to hire someone)

Wait, did you have the in-person interview?
Yep, on Friday! What was supposed to be a "meet the whole team" interview was "meet half the team" interview - a few emergencies or something. The manager was gone - but I had spoken to her on the phone when I had the phone screening.
Brrrr I was wondering why I was freezing at my desk. Then I remembered the cleaner was here on Saturday and he always turns the AC down. It was 68! It's now back up to a reasonable temp.

So you don't know what the next step is?
They are phone screening a few more people, and the manager will get ahold of me "sooner rather than later"

You guys remember my stage 5 clinger from last year? The one who texted me every day and talked about meeting ds after 2 dates? Well I had him blocked on okc, but apparently he has a new account. I got 4 messages in 3 hours and did not respond to any of them.

I got an email that I wasn't qualified for a job, that I am MORE than qualified for. I emailed their HR person to ask why I wasn't qualified and another coworker, with the same credentials and less education did. It's because they worded a question, on the application wonky, so I appear to not be qualified although I am. In the grand scheme, it's too late and it doesn't matter, but it annoys me that their poor wording in a question makes me look like I'm not eligible for the position.
