I thought only my H used shoe polish. He has the soul of a 75 year old man. Lol. He even has a wooden shoe polish kit. Dork. Sorry, I have no idea but this made me laugh for some reason.
I can ask my H when he gets home He's very into having polished shoes. Occasionally I bring my nicer riding style boots to the shoe repair place to get polished if they have a lot of scuffs. My Fryes on the other hand look better the more scuffed they get.
What about bringing them to a shoe repair place? They might be able to get them looking new again. They'd also probably be able to tell you where to get that color polish.

The places here are only open during work hours, and I don't want to have to take time off to go deal with my shoes. I also have a zillion pairs of heels that need the caps replaced. I've just been buying new (cheap) shoes to avoid dealing with it.
What about running at lunch time or on your next day off? Drop the girls at your mom's, take the shoes, and then pick them up. That way you'd have your nice shoes back all new again. Plus, I think it'd be cheaper to put new caps and polish than buying cheap shoes.
I have polished boots before! I used to have a pair of combat boots in high school that I kept nice and buffed. lol. I have also used liquid polish on my work shoes. I am just having a hard time finding the right color.

It definitely would be. lol. I don't take a lunch break, but I can try to do it the next time I have a day off. I just never think about it.
I'm the same way. I'd rather do something fun on days we don't have plans rather than do errands. It takes SO much longer with a kid in toe!
