Inspired by the cold post - is it still hot anywhere else?

At sunrise this morning it was 86* and 98% humidity. I pansied out and went back to bed. I can't remember when it started to get better the last two years, but geez, it is OCTOBER!

Is anyone else still stuck in summer?

It go into the 60s/70s this weekend. But supposed to be 80s/high 70s again this week. Not normal for Portland.

We're going to have a couple more 80 degree days this week, but then it looks like we're solidly in fall weather.

I think we're mostly past the 90s, but we're still hitting mid-80s (which I can deal with, no problem.) What I CANNOT deal with, what is absolutely sucking the damn life out of me, (which you clearly have too,) is the humidity. It has never been this bad before. Every damn day, it starts at 90%+. Even if it's cooler, it doesn't matter, because the air is too damn thick to breathe. I'm so over it.

clseale, I'm not liking your weather, I just feel comforted that I'm not stuck in this endless summer alone! I remember in March it was solidly into the mid-90's already... It has been seven months, my gosh!

Until I came here I don't think that I had ever wanted summer to end before!

It makes it easier to suffer when you have company. I totally understand.

Still, you poor thing. You most definitely get the gold medal for the suffer Olympics of weather. I'll get relief before you do.

What's really annoying me now, is that the weather will make you THINK it's going to be nice, but it does a total fake-out. 2 weekends ago I looked at the weather & was giddy that the high was only going to be 83. But ya know what it was at 6 AM when I started my long run?? 79* w/a feels like well into the mid-80s because of the humidity. WTF is that that shit? FOUR degrees difference between our high and our low?! It might as well have gotten up to 95*. I was not amused.

That is just not fair. I swear that the 'overnight low' happens for like 4.3 seconds at the peak of morning humidity. I keep looking at the forecast feeling hopeful, but it is all lies!

It has been raining here for over 2 weeks. We haven't seen the sun since Labor Day Weekend. I wish I was kidding.

We are having our first cold snap right now, but I do still see a few 80s in my 10 day forecast.

It was beautiful this weekend - highs of 84ish. Now we're back in a pattern of low 90s for 3 days, one nice mid-80s, 3 days of low 90s, one mid-80s. If I don't see a temp that begins with a 9 for the next 6 months I'll be ecstatic.

Gross. We have the exact opposite of rain... Would you believe that I haven't seen rain here since last November?

Geez. That sucks. At least our mornings have been in the 60s the past few mornings. It was even 55 on Saturday. DH practically had to strap me to the bed to prevent me from going for a run and triggering another crippling four day headache.

This is the first week it's been reasonable. I'm actually running after school today.

It's still hot here. The weather report says we'll have a high of 93 today and that the humidity is currently 99%.

Our 10 day forecast still includes 90*. It was 64 here this morning at 445 (or maybe 68, it was too early to pay attention) but over 80% humidity so it didn't feel very good at all.
