He can be an addict and that can be true. Just keep an eye out for missing money and "off" behavior. If you're looking for it, you'll notice it.
Maybe when you talk to him in person just tell him that you love him and you believe him (if you do) but you can't help but be on high alert only because you're a yil scared.

I've done pain pills for funsies and would now too! Like, if I was prescribed them, I'd take one a day (less than prescribed) until they ran out even if I didn't NEED them. But I wouldn't spend money on them or seek them out illegally.
I feel like if you keep an eye on it, you'll notice if something is going on. I really believe that.

I don't want to sound like one of those women that just instantly believes what their H says. I'm conflicted.
It's hard to tell. I know he has had a behavior of doing stuff for "fun" before so i can't be for sure.
I don't think you sound like one of those women, you are married to the guy, and trust is a big part of our relationships, he very well may be telling you the whole truth. You know him best.
When you say he has a behavior of doing stuff for fun before, what do you mean? Like in college? Or more recently?
Also, taking rx for fun is a serious problem even if it's once and awhile. This is something that is destroying many of my students and it really should be taken seriously.
I'm really sorry you have to deal with this. Def check out nar-anon, they should have resources for you. Addiction in any form is terrifying and can come on so fast. I hope he's ok.
I think sitting with him tonight and explaining how you feel, might help. Tell him that you're worried and scared it'll go further. Tell him that you believe him but you're on high alert. Then, I'd keep my eyes peeled for anything crazy. Hopefully, he's telling the truth and really only used them for severe pain and not recreation.
Yeah. The secretive thing would bother me. But I get the migraine thing. I keep extra pain pills because I get migraines. I have muscle relaxers for migraines too that I have given to H. Not for fun, for pain. But I still shouldn't use things the way they weren't intended. I would just keep a bit better tabs on things from here on out.
I'm sorry you are dealing with this. You aren't wrong to be concerned. I hope you can get some clear answers and if he needs help, which it sounds like he may, he is able to get it. Hugs!
I have a few loved ones who are addicted to Vicodins and Loritabs. Its very sad to watch. I would look out for (in my experience) fast talking, slightly excitable behavior. I hope in some way, its not what it seems. good luck to you. FYI my loved ones would take 5 at a time. so it would be like over 15 pills a day sometimes its possible to take that many.
You don't mean Zofran. That's an anti nausea pill.
This. Is he trying to get high or is he trying to make himself sick? I'm not sure the point of taking zofran?
he may be taking the zofran to keep the other pills down. taking a lot can make you vomit and then you dont get the high and wasted pills. the large dose of acetaminophen in them irritates the stomach.
