We have the same one as Rjamz and Nicole (but in green) and love it. It has survived 1.5 years of abuse and still looks pretty good. The handle detaches with one button, so it's easily to disassemble and stash under a stroller or in a suitcase.
The brake works well, and it seems very easy to maneuver because C weaves through sidewalk crowds without problems.
We have the Radio Flyer, too, but I'm also not a fan. I prefer the 3-wheeled ones with the pair of wheels in the back. I've noticed the front-wheeled one tends to tip easier.

We have the same ones in green. The boys have used them almost daily unless its snowing for the past year and a half. They just started using the brake instead of their toes about 2 months ago but have been expert scooterers for a long time.
Tell me more about the one button detaching. I never knew that function existed!! I have just been hooking them onto the stroller.
We have the micro maxi, G got it for his birthday. It was a little big for him so he didn't use it as much as we thought, but he's probably grown into it by now.

Flip it upside down. There's a red button on the underside of the scooter base where the handle shaft connects. Press that, and the handle shaft will slide out. I discovered this when we had to replace the shaft after the original one was snapped under a car tire (no kid nearby).
What age did you guys give this? Violet would have no interest but I think Ruby would love this.
Carter got it for his second birthday, but he played on one around 18 months and loved it, so we could've given it earlier if it weren't winter. Your daredevil will love it!
P.S. I sometimes "forget" to tell him to take his helmet off after he rides to the playground with high climbing structures
We just got this one in the mail this morning from pampers rewards. I think it's the same as the one many of the ladies above have, just a 3 in 1. Daniel will only use it as a scooter, in the 30 minutes we've had it out of the box Alexander hasn't been interested in it as a seat but that might change. It seems like a great scooter with lots of flexibility (the radio flyer one we have is very stiff).
He goes in phases of liking it and not. He got it for his 3rd bday. I'm not sure if its the scooter or him, but it does sometimes tip over forward. We do have him wear his helmet when riding it.
We also have the Micro Mini. DD loves it and uses it as much as possible. I love taking it with us when we go down to Boston or the outdoor shopping mall because she can keep up with my walking and gets to cruise around- win/ win!
