I hate work so much right now that I really dread getting up in the morning. V misses me so she asks to sleep with me when mh is working. S will not sleep. She's screaming bloody murder. This is the fourth night in a week where she wakes up inconsolable. Mh was able to get her down by singing but for me she just screams and cries until I'm up with her for hours. V is in my bed sleeping, S is crying so hard she's gagging and I'm in the hallway typing this Bc I don't know what the hell to do. I just rocked her to sleep but the second I put her down she's screaming. I don't know what to do. They both need me and I need some sleep. The last time she did this I was up for 4 hours.
I'm so sorry it's SO HARD. Especially when you're sleep deprived. Have you tried Tylenol? Is there any way you can take shifts so you both get a little continuous sleep? Thinking of you. You're doing a great job and they know they're well loved.
I'm sorry I've been there and it's the worst. Can you bring S into bed with you? Rock her to sleep again but then have her lie down with you and attempt to transfer her later? Just so you can get a little bit of sleep.. you're doing so great. Really, you are.
If V is in your bed sleeping could you move her to her room and have your H go in there with her? And then you can bring S in to bed with you so you can sleep? Not ideal but for tonight?

I'm so sorry you are dealing with all of this at once. Maybe S is having teething symptoms? I would probably try giving her some ibuprofen and see if that helps. Big hugs. I hope they let you get some sleep soon. <3

Thanks, guys. I brought her to bed with us for an hour but she just tried to grab my nipple and roll around. I gave her Tylenol and put her back in her crib and she cried on and off for 2 hours but at least it wasn't the same brutal screaming. Mh is working so he can't help.
I'm sorry spaghetticat. That sounds so hard and it's unfair because they are supposed to be past that now. Could she have an ear infection I wonder? That can cause a lot of pain when they are lying flat.
Oh man. I'm so sorry. I hope it's just a bad stretch of teething and things will get better soon. Maybe try Motrin before bed tonight.
Do you not like work anymore because you are exhausted or do you dread it even when rested?
I think it's a combo. I've had a lot of parents come at me this year and I'm really not good at that aspect of it. I'm obsessively checking my work email because I'm waiting for something else to come. The transfer to this grade was a lot harder than I thought. I think I might be depressed too. I need to figure some stuff out and the lack of sleep is not helping.
