What are you training for? Date? MCM, 10/25. Taper time!!!!
Training plan for the week? M-7mi, Tu-6mi w/speedwork, F-5-6 mi (my schedule is weird this week), Sa-16mi w/some pace miles in there, Su-recovery
Any issues or vents? Everything hurts and I'm dying? I'm worried about the IT flareup I'm having right now. Doing lots of stretching and glute/hip stuff, but I'm worried that's making me fatigued? At least my feet/Achilles are good? Christ on a cracker, I hate taper.
Highlights or AW's? It's taper time! I had a really solid run yesterday afternoon. It was supposed to be 8 easy, but I was moving, so I did 7 as tempo instead. Then I got up this morning and did more speed. I'm done with speedwork for a while! Wait...that bums me out. I love speedwork.
Any issues or vents? My BFF is...not entirely supportive...of my running and that makes me sad. Some of it is light hearted joking like calling me "cardio queen." Other times, she says things like "You might do this forever, you might quit tomorrow" and that can be sort of hurtful. I told her I am pondering the AF Full next year and she basically called me crazy and switched subjects. She's not normally like this so I'm not sure what's going on. Weirdly, #realmitch is like the *most* supportive person about my running lol.
That stinks. I wonder if she wishes she could be so into something like you are right now? Regardless - GO YOU!!!

I mean, she competes locally in Olympic weightlifting so I don't think that's it.

Training plan for the week? I'm sick right now but was supposed to do 2 short runs and at least one yoga this week. We'll see how quickly I get better.
Any issues or vents? See sickness screwing up training plan. Also, my hip bursitis can bite me.
Highlights or AW's? I get to run with my new garmin on sunday! And run with my friend who's coming in for the race!
