Looks great! I'm having salon disappointment. I need to accept that I need a new stylist.
I hate when this happens. I had to switch to a new person after almost 5 years with the same girl. I just realized every time I was less in love with what she did. Plus she was getting insane with the poofing. I don't need my head to look 5 sizes bigger, thank you very much.

Mine is an awesome colorist, but I do box color now because I don't have the time or money. I went in wanting nice movement/layers last time, and she just used thinning shears on the bottom few inches. I figured I needed to bring a picyure, maybe. So I brought one this time, and she did the same thing. I could/should have asked her to do it right, but I couldn't really see how it was laying until she was done and it was mostly dry. At that point I just didn't feel like starting over after almost 2h (I have a lot of hair, and she isn't very fast either). Bleh.

I think thinning shears must be a thick hair cop out. Mine tried to use nothing but thinning shears on my hair and I had to tell her to quit in the front because it was making the layers rough. The last time I went, I asked to try and blend my bad roots in with my obviously dyed ends because I have a new baby and no money or time to keep up with the dye job and there are huge chunks of hair where there's just a line where the dye just stopped.
