DS is getting tubes + adenoidectomy next Friday. I know it will help, but my baaaayybeeee
Aww. Poor little guy!! I didn't realized they did that when they are so young. Poor momma too! I'm sure it will be harder on you than it is on him. Spoil him rotten.

mrs.jacinthe, good luck. I hope you get the help you need. I need to schedule a similar appointment and I am seriously dragging my feet.
I skipped my run again tonight. This makes like 6 of the last 7 runs skipped. I am meeting a friend in the morning, so I have to run then. I am volunteering for a trail race this weekend. I'm hoping I get my mojo back. Maybe I'll run a couple miles after the race.
We moved into our new house over the weekend, but don't get our furniture and stuff until Friday. So the house is empty minus a few things. And we are down to 1 car for the next few weeks while we wait for our second one to get here. H started up his new job full time this week, which means he needs the car. And I'm just hanging out in an empty house with nothing to do until Friday when our stuff comes.
Today is day 2 of this and I'm so freaking bored. Pretty sure I've never been so bored in my life. And the weather is crappy, so even though I got out and walked the dogs this morning it wasn't for long. Another day and a half of this. Ugh!
You should just sleep for the next day and a half. Stock up before baby comes!

It's hard watching them go back for surgery, but it's amazing what a difference it makes. He'll feel so much better afterwards (and so will you not dealing with EI's anymore). Stay strong mama!
I'm stressed so I'm eating everything in sight. The whole slow build up to running is going to drive me mad and I just want to run and not have to go through this crap.
Not sure what you can and cant do, but i became very good friends with the rowing machine when i couldnt run. I found it to be a better challenge and workout than spin.

It's Thursday, is it too late to whine? Don't care. I am anyway!
Why can't I make it through one damn training cycle without some stupid injury? I wore a new pair of (the same) shoes Monday and now there's pain on the inside of my ankle, even when I walk. Cut last night's run short, taking tonight off, but I don't want to miss my long run on Saturday. I'm a month out from a race.
And the chocolate thread is killing my PMS-ing brain!
I had a shitastic tempo run. It was so bad I almost started crying, and that made me feel like an idiot. I probably would have bailed on the run if it wasn't for the fact that dd was in the middle of her swim class, so I would have still had to stay in the building.

I haven't done a tempo run in over a year & a half. LOL Go easy on yourself! I'm sorry you had a bad run.

Thanks! I keep trying to remind myself that I'm done with training, and everything else is just gravy.

I had horrible mile repeats last week. It was depressing. I think it is part of taper. This week (race week) I'm flying.
