I took Ender with me to go grab some Halloween decorations for our party. I find a skull I like and toss it in the cart (which is an odd sentence in and of itself), and Ender sees it. Immediately he starts up with "Want baby mama, want baby mama!". I explain to him that the skull is not a baby, at which point he turns to consider the skull and then nods in agreement. Then he goes on to explain "It's bad baby mama. I WANT BAD BABY! PLEAASEE BAD BABY?"
So I walked through the Dollar Tree with my son happily playing with and singing lullabyes to the "bad baby".
Shorti is boycotting naps at DC. Which means she comes home TIRED and whiney. Like, just makes this never ending wwaaaaahhhhhh noise about everything. Last night I told her if she didn't stop making the noise while we were getting PJ's and brushing teeth and all that she was going to lose a story. (she gets two bedtime stories) She didn't stop. And then I had the fun of enforcing that she only got one story.
OMG the drama. I couldn't handle it. I caved. I read her one story and then let her "read" me a second story. (i.e. she recited one of the books she has memorized) Why won't she just take a damn nap? She clearly still needs one.
Sizzli continues to be a very easy baby who sleeps at every given opportunity and otherwise just hangs out and smiles at people when he's not eating. The only time he fusses is when he's working on a nice fart. My only quibble with him is that he's a damn pig and drinks more milk at DC than is even kinda reasonable. Like...I now send 16 oz a day and still he occasionally forces DCP into her backup frozen stash. And he still comes home and goes into leach-mode. STOP GROWING SO MUCH, YOU'RE BEING RIDICULOUS.

BoyLiu sang the Supernatural parody on the way to daycare. "Pray pray pray! Hate hate hate! Shake it off! Shake it off! Whoa whoa." Complete with motions. Very cute.
Hey Twin on Another Coast, aka @dontcallmeshirley1!!! How are you doing!! We are half way done!!! <3
I know! I'm doing okay. I feel like I have no lung capacity left, though, and I have 18 more weeks.
How are you doing?
I'm pretty good. 20 weeks. Symptoms fine. Heartburn started up last night though. We had our big ultrasound and all is well!! Not ready in the least for a new baby in the house....

Ok, so what the hell. I post this yesterday. Today at his 2 month checkup the pedi told MH that he's not gaining enough and we need to feed him more. Short of waking him up in the middle of the night to eat, I do not know how to feed him more. And I can do that, but REALLY?? Also he gained a full pound in the last month, which I thought was well within the normal range. I HATE not being at doctor's appointments because I get these things second hand and I'm all, "WAIT. what??" and MH has nothing for me because he just nodded and said ok instead of asking more questions because lacking tits, he's not the one who feeds this child.
