I have a half marathon next Sunday. I am currently Crossfitting 2-3 days a week and running 3-4 days a week. We are in the middle of a strength program right now at CF - lots of back squats, front squats, deadlifts, bench press and shoulder press with some power cleans. The lifts get heavier each time I go. I plan to go today but was unsure if I should lift on Friday.

I plan to take all next week off of lifting and pick it up after the half next Sunday.
I usually take a week off, so I think if you want to go Friday it is okay. I've taken like 5 weeks off this cycle. I raced 2 weeks in a row and then it felt pointless to start up just to stop during taper. I hate it and need to lift again. I can't wait to go back next week!
