Yes. I am currently on a once-a-year haircut schedule. See? LAZY.
Getting color done from a stylist is more of a commitment, but will probably yield the better results, especially if you're doing any sort of blonde. Plenty of people are happy with at home hair color, which is why I recommended the above because (allegedly) it's harder to screw up than other box colors.
LOL, no!
Did you see that mop of dark curls up there? Blond would be RIDICULOUS. I'm at least trying to stay in my natural wheelhouse. I have far too many freckles to go blond.

Ha, I figured but I wanted to give you a warning because box blonde usually comes out yellow, especially for those who have brown hair naturally.
This is why the earth invented pintrest. Go there..look at "brown hair" and go from there! Then bring those pics to a consult.
Hair stylists are the best for lazy people
I only joined Pinterest like 3 weeks ago. It is kind of overwhelming. Also, if anybody knows where I put my reading glasses or my cane, that would be a great help.

So when you are pintresting hair colors just also start a board for "cane storage"

I just tried that, but all I got were pins about canning.
Go to a damn hairdresser & show her a pic of what you'd like for your hair to look like.
This assumes I know what I want it to look like. Except I don't, other than: exactly how it is now but without gray! LOL.
Anyway, she can fit me in before I leave town next week. Holy fuck, y'all. This is like a real grownup thing I'm doing.
Then you should just tell her exactly this! That you want your hair to be exactly the same but without the gray! This is what DH did for me (he's a hairdresser) - he mixed up my exact color and then he basically picked out pretty much just the grays and colored them. He wove the color through some normal hair too, but mostly just the grays. Not sure if it is possible to actually get this kind of treatment in a salon, but it is worth asking! One thing we found out was that the dye pulled red on me and it looked like I got red highlights (but it was very subtle). I have very dark hair.
tacosforlife I use Natural Instincts on my hair and love it. I don't feel like it damages my hair at all. I don't know if I have any grays to cover up because I'm blonde anyway. I was always afraid to try anything more permanent. I have some red in my hair and it's a pretty dark blonde naturally. I use a light neutral blonde to get my current color and it turns out pretty warm thanks to the undertones. If I used a warm dye it would probably end up looking a little clown-like. My stylist knows I use Natural Instincts and supports it.
