I'd like to punch someone in the face. My lawyer messed up and now I have to wait a few more weeks for the divorce. WHY IS THIS PROCESS SO MESSED UP AND DRAWN OUT. WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY.

I'm still sick, and working from home.
Here is my confession: I have 3/4 of a round of antibiotics from the last time I was sick. I'm contemplating taking them now, to kick whatever I have going on. I don't get sick often, but when I do, it lingers forever and I just get sicker and sicker and sicker. I can't afford that right now.
See, chalupa! We said it was for a good reason and it was! It sounds like your new gig is a much better place to be!
That sucks, doglove. I hope they get the issue resolved quickly.
It's at least another 2 weeks once the lawyer has proof he was served. Thank god it's not another 6 week wait. I almost lost it yesterday when I first found out.
In my best mom voice: The leftoevers aren't going to make you feel any better if they make/made you sick! Plus, a couple doses is ineffective, and can also result in an infection coming back stronger than it was before. You need to go be seen
And now that I'm done with that lecture, yes, you were absolutely right about the job and there being better opportunities for me. I'm so glad I held out for a job offer that felt right.
In my best whinny kid voice: my PCP is super stingy with antibiotics and I need to be sick for 2 weeks before she will consider giving them to me. I don't get sick often, but when I do, it doesn't ever fucking go away.

But do you have something viral? Antibiotics won't help a virus.
Here is my argument. I ALWAYS have a viral infection. Every.damn.time. And? Whenever I finally get antibiotics, I always feel better within 2-3 days of taking them. So, either antibiotics do kill viruses or I'm misdiagnosed. Lol.

This may also be due to a virus having run its course by that point.
If it was a one off, I'd agree with you. But it is every single time. I go from death bed sick to a miraculous recovery. And it's been like this for years.
Today is my Friday, thank god! I had the most awful dream about work at 5:30 this morning. It was violent and a potentially real situation, so it's got me all shook up. Guess this is my brain's way to tell me to apply for the other position.
I've had a headache since Saturday.
On the upside, I have a fun day tomorrow...going to take DS to the movies, run some random errands and then am going to a wine and painting thing with some friends.

chalupa I have two huge itchy bites from painting the outside trim a few nights ago. It sucks. They seem bigger than the usual mosquito bites. I hope you figure out what bit you.
chalupa, could it be spiders? My friend found a mama spider with her babies on her back on her porch yesterday morning, but the afternoon the babies were gone.

Why not apply? It doesn't mean you have to take the job if it is offered to you. Interviewing is always good practice! And who knows, maybe it will be a good fit! And if it isn't, what have you lost?

In case you haven't figured it out, I'm a little cranky today. I'm so congested and stuffed up, I feel like an elephant is sitting on my head. None of the meds I'm on seem to be helping.
Plus, I got my injection on Tuesday and the hot flashes are so ridiculous the first 1-2 weeks after the injection. I slept terrible last night because I had night sweats so bad it was covers on, covers off, covers on, covers off the entire night. I'm still drenched in sweat and I feel disgusting.
I get sinus infections and I always end up needing antibiotics to clear them, but I have to wait also. I hate it but I do it. So bullygirl979 I agree with the others about not taking the antibiotics. Especially because they made you sick before.
I wish it was Friday. I had a good date last night, a cop who doesn't carry when he's off duty and prefers to leave work at work.

I know...I know...I also wonder if there's a possibility some of the work could be mobile. I think I'll throw my hat in the ring and see.
ETA: I just emailed to let her know I'm interested.
doriswe I'm glad to hear you're pursuing the other option! It sounds like you need that or a break from your main job. Work related nightmares like that are pretty awful.

I think it's part "consider options" and my brain reminding me where I work and to stay aware of my surroundings, if that makes sense.

It does. My last one was a clear indicator that I was feeling burnt out and like I wasn't able to give or do my best at work.
