I'm guessing a lot of people like Kraft blue box mac and cheese. BLECH. I grew up on that stuff, but once I made homemade, I could never go back. It's SO TERRIBLE.
I'm pretty sure she was horrified by this last time but... Cottage cheese instead of ricotta in lasagna.
Oh and my husband usually tries to make homemade gravy for biscuits on the weekends and this past weekend he just used the packets of gravy mix... It was yummier.

1) Yes, that's kind of what started this whole thing. I think I put cottage cheese in lasagna when I was like 20 and broke. But now? NEVER.
2) I'm sorry that your husband clearly makes terrible homemade gravy.

Now that I've tried the Annie's I'll never go back to the Kraft.
I love the SHIT out of Totino's pizza rolls. Are they good? No. Do I love them? YAAAAASSSS. We all have guilty pleasures.
Stovetop stuffing is marginally offensive. I mean, it's just dried, seasoned bread that you add liquid to. I don't get it. Why not just use your own bread and seasoning? It's the just-add-water pancake mix of stuffing - it gets the job done, but it's so much better if you make it from scratch.
When DH and I were in college we ate A LOT of Tuna Helper. We never liked Hamburger Helper, but for some reason we loved the Tuna version. I'd probably still like it but haven't bought it in years because it reminds me of being young and broke and going grocery shopping at Big Lots.
We also don't like the Kraft blue box, but do eat a lot of the Annie's and NatureSomething boxed mac&cheeses.
I also usually make spaghetti with Newman's Own jarred sauce.
FWIW, I do make real mac&cheese and real spaghetti sauce a few times per year.

I ate Tuna Helper in college because my roommate brought it into our apartment. Never again!
I generally approve of Newman's Own products. I've found them to be consistently good. We sometimes use jarred pasta sauce because it's easy on the weeknights. Chosen well, jarred pasta sauce is not inherently offensive - it just needs to start with good ingredients.
It's not comparable to box mac and cheese - I COULD make a bunch of homemade pasta sauce and can it. I don't. But I could. I could never make that powdered cheese mix myself.

To me these are two entirely separate things. One is not a replacement for the other. When I want blue box mac and cheese, that's what I want. When I want real mac and cheese, that's totally different.

It's nostalgic for me. It's what my mom made with Thanksgiving dinner. When I can I try to make homemade stuffing, but sometime I just want what my mom made (and still makes).
I love the pizza rolls. Bad. They are definitely a weakness of mine.

I've heard other people say that. But that doesn't change the fact that blue box mac and cheese is just plain GROSS.
Ground beef tacos Kraft dinner with ketchup Chili with beans
1) Ground beef tacos can be delicious. That's classic Tex-Mex right there.
2) OMG YOU FOUND A WAY TO MAKE BLUE BOX MAC AND CHEESE WORSE!
3) Dirty secret: I don't mind chili with beans if it's good chili. Unfortunately, a lot of chili is just far too tomato-y. But they must be pinto beans because kidney beans are nas-tay.
When I was a kid, my mom used to make "cheese dreams". White hamburger buns spread with cheez whiz, slices of bacon on top, then broil until melty. Serve with lots of ketchup. Mmmm.
I may have to exit this thread for a few minutes to collect myself.
You guys would have been in heaven growing up where I did. The Totino's family was very giving to local private schools, so we had Totino's pizza on pizza day. It's so nostalgic for me!

I wish you could see my face right now. It's...not good. HAHAH
H loves the just-add-water pancake mix. He also puts ketchup in his mac and cheese (Kraft) and has started getting DS to do it.
I love ramen. I love frozen pizza. I love McDonald's breakfast burritos.
I love frozen pizza, too. I'm going to be honest - there is very little pizza I don't like. Even bad pizza is still pizza. ALL THE PIZZA!
What I can't stand about McDonald's breakfast is the American cheese, which I just hate. And their eggs just weird me out. I always go for the sausage biscuit or the chicken biscuit although I have discovered that some McDonald's locations have discontinued the chicken biscuit.
