Your email address is your full name. You get all your bills and notifications to this email address.Plus all that other shit you don't care about. You get a divorce and you don't want to go by full name anymore. You have not changed your last name yet after divorce... but... in a year or two that won't matter anyway.
Do you just make a new email address? Is it worth it? Or do you just suck it up because EVERYTHING goes to this email address and it's not worth the effort?
I just left mine. I changed the display to my maiden name, so in your inbox, it'll say Gozf Maiden Name, even though the email address is gozfmarriedname @ hooha.com.
But I am the laziest. I just changed my name back legally in June, when I started my new job, because I have an aversion to paperwork and municipal buildings.
if you changed your email address, would you go with something that didn't contain your last name at all (whatever it is)?
if so, i would go ahead and make a new email, and gradually switch over, using the forwarding feature for everything, and change things when i thought about it.
