So I bet that means that they will only get notifications from their board and none of the others.

That is what I assumed. Right now I can edit posts on boards other than my own. Once they have a few more global mods, they were going to limit the editing functions to whatever board you are moderating for regular mods. I would assume at that point we should only get the notifications for our own board. Although this is the first notification I've had. Have there been any other reports?
