I finally bit the bullet and bought a pair of black leggings (Hue brand - FYI, they were $13 at Nordstrom Rack). Gotta try them on at home to make sure they fit. My friend was wearing them this weekend and she's a similar size and looked good in them.
Show me the tops you like to wear with leggings. I wear XL tops and I have a belly so I'm looking for something that isn't clingy.
Bonus points if they're from Kohl's because I have a $25 gift card.
I don't have boots, but I just got ash gray Toms shoes so I am hoping I can wear them with the leggings.
I've purchased a few Lularoe tops recently in the "Irma" style and really like them since they are super long and cover my but. Plus, I like that I am a medium or occasionally a small in their brand and I am definitely not a medium or small in really life.

Idk how tall you are but I tend to buy tunics in tall sizes so they are longer when they are available. I'm only 5'4" but an XL. I prefer the extra length and they're never too long. Sometimes look a little more like a dress but I found some of them get hung up on my belly, making them shorter than I like.

I'm 5'3", wear a medium or sometimes a large, and my stomach is also my problem area. I bought this at Kohl's last week, in black and burgundy. It's a ribbed sweater and is a nice medium weight. I've worn the black one already and it wasn't too warm.
I bought this at Old Navy recently. I bought it in tall so it would be long enough for leggings, and it's perfect. It's lightweight, but not clingy at all. In fact, I ended up sizing down because this style is cut rather wide. I see they're sold way down online right now, but there was just a big one-day sweater sale. I bet they'll restock.
