I'm hoping today goes by fast. I'm psyched for the debate tonight but am worried that I'll be too tired to watch.
I'm curious to hear the Berns answer on guns. That is one issue in which I don't trust him, especially with his most recent flip flop, but we shall see.
Really I hope that it's just a love fest and they make fun of the R clowns all night but I doubt that will happen.
I just spilt 4oz of water in my bed. Sigh. Dh just left for work, I'm waiting for R to go back to sleep then I need to shimmy W over because he ended up in our bed as well and I get to sleep in a wet spot.
Andrew got sick all over himself and the car seat last night. There was nothing I could do to put a dent in it, so I just sped home to clean him up. He was so traumatized. It was awful. (This is the kid who would always clean up if he had an accident while potty training. He gets so ashamed if something like this happens) Now I have to decide if it was a fluke or if he's actually sick. He was acting fine all day yesterday, and had just eaten dinner in the car when it happened. I'm thinking that his Happy Meal wasn't so happy, but I need to be 100% sure before I send him off to school. (His school doesn't have vomit or fever rules. It's more of a 'use your best judgement' thing)
I can't sleep. I've been up since 5am and I feel like I want to sleep but I just lay there. Ugh. So I rolled out of bed at 6am. I'm going to be so tired later.
Last full day of MIL so we're taking A to the zoo. I gotta get out of the house and A needs to run of energy.
Anyone know what time the debate is? I gotta watch! MIL and dh are both Republican and I need to see their faces. Lol.

K and I are both sick...she has an ear infection and a bad chest cold and I have a cold. I called out of work and hope to lay around doing nothing. I got up, took a shower and put comfy loungy clothes on. Does anyone else do this? I hate not showering, even when I'm really sick so I always do. My H thinks it's weird.

Yes, I have to shower!  When I was in the hospital, I still got up every morning, had them remove my IV and showered.  The nurses thought I was nuts  I hope you feel better soon.
I'm glad I'm not alone! We can stand united. And clean!
Earlier than normal start here this morning. A woke a little after 6 and at 6:40 Daniel had to pee. I could not convince him to go back to bed for the 20 minutes and wait for his sun.
My morning audience while I pee, at least they're cute.

Boomer has an ear infection, He always has a problem with yeast really bad, and he is so sensitive to things with his skin, etc. it's 2am an he woke me up with his excessive licking and shaking, ugh. Luckily we have prescription drops and ear wash already, because another vet visit would cost quite a bit, for something we already know. My poor guy though. I put a pillow on the couch for him and hopefully he can settle down and get some rest.

It seems that the 3rd Intifada was announced recently and there have been a lot of attacks this past week - mainly stabbings and shootings. There were 5 attacks in Jerusalem this morning. There has also been retaliation by the Israelis, and I'm worried a full scale war is about to break out.

Eliza should have been dropped off 20mins ago so I called her mom and she was asleep. Like slept through her alarm. So she decided to just not come. Now I have to deal with Peyton screaming "where Liza?! Liza coming over?! Liza here yet? But me and Liza were gunna plaaaay!!!"
Elliot is a clingy miserable teething mess. He wouldn't sleep unless someone was holding him last night. This morning when we put him down to play while we got ready he just cried and cried. So pitiful.

Yeah that's what I thought but wasn't sure if I missed something else. I have friends posting minute to minute updates. Ughhhh. If they call up the reserves that's it.

I am trying not to panic, but anxiety is high. There was one case of lice in DS's classroom posted yesterday. I asked and she said they check everyone for 7 days. I am panicking inside though. He likes to roll around on the floor when he plays cars. I sprayed him with the Ladibugs spray. I put DD's hair in a pony and sprayed her, too. I threatened her with losing toys if she took her pony out.
ETA: they check everyone in that classroom, but not DD since she is in a different class.

I'm in the same boat, they have a professional lice company checking them today (also checked them Friday) and I am crossing my fingers everyone comes back clear. I have so much anxiety over this fucking lice! We got a lice repelling shampoo, the fairytales spray, and I did pigtail buns .

NOOO! What I hate is that there is zero I can do about it. I hate not being in control! I started thinking about what I would do if one of them gets it. I think I would have a meltdown.

I keep checking but I don't really trust my checking abilities, especially with light colored hair. I really really really need her not to get it.

Yes! Showers always make me feel better. J says the same thing too. If one of us isn't feeling well, we always ask the other if they've showered. Something about the warm water and steam that makes me feel better.
I'm freaking tired. I'm pretty sure it's an iron deficiency bc I've always been borderline anemic, but I've only been this exhausted a few times in my life. I've spent the last day or so looking up iron rich foods and recipes and what not to eat. I've tried so many iron supplements and they all make my stomach hurt. I basically slept all of the last two weekends and still feel tired. I don't even wake for alarms now and J had to wake me up this morning before he left, which is rare. I have zero energy and it suuuucks. I'm going grocery shopping today and loading up on good foods.
I ran myself ragged over the weekend. So much alcohol, so little sleep. My body hated me when I had to get for work this morning. It was all worth it, though! Concert/Bachelorette party, pumpkin picking hungover, then my friend's wedding. And, I know I might be biased, but my DH looked like such a stud at the wedding, lol.
When I got A to work this morning, I realized I had a flat. I'm thankful it happened today, not over the weekend when I was all over the place. I left the car parked in our driveway that way, and had my brother give me a ride to work. I'm so helpless with my damn car. DH said he will take care of it this afternoon.

I know. I was checking both of them, but I don't know if I know enough to find anything. I decided I'm calling the lice lady if it happens.

One of my friends lives in Okinawa right now and she got this Halloween shirt for her baby from a local store. I am giggling like a lunatic over the translation of Happy Halloween. I don't know why I find it so funny.
Today is the last day of our pathetic fall break. Just took A to school and went grocery shopping. We need to go deal with the couch debacle and I'm hoping to run by babies r us for a few. Maybe Chipotle for lunch. I have to get all my shot ready because I have an observation first period tomorrow. Everything must be done in time to watch the debates.
Hello, I'm the worlds biggest baby. Nice to meet you.
A wasp was flying in my family room today and perched up on a high shelf. I swatted it with a newspaper with the intention of making his death quick. Instead my papers fell apart and I merely stunned him. He fell into a pile of Hank's toys where I had to dig him out and then squish him with a newspaper covered book. It was horrible and I am trembling. This is perhaps an overreaction to the events, but I feel rather shaken. It's very unlike me.
