We go every summer on our way to visit my dad in Vermont. Pre kids DH and I would often make a weekend out of it. I love Boston, there is so much to do and so much history. And lots of good food

I would love to have a long weekend there. We pass through a few times a year, but rarely get more than a few hours near Long wharf, but we enjoy the aquarium and walking around the shopping area there. Our bffs met us there last summer and they enjoyed the freedom trail and lots of good restaurants. Although touristy, they actually enjoyed the duck boat tour they took.

We went right after I found out I was pregnant with Henry. I really loved it! There is so much history, and I felt like it was a good walking city. We walked a ton and ate a ton of yummy food.
I was there for a conference in August. My hotel was about 2 blks from Boston Commons. I wished I had had someone to go exploring with because it seems like such a cool/fun city. I did do a tour bus, but wished I would have done the Duck Boat. I didn't get off at any of the stops due to time constraints. I wanted to go to Fenway, but the Yankees were in town, so the tix were pretty ridiculous and I didn't want to go by myself. I did wander around on Boylston street a little bit. I didn't eat out anywhere fun as I was fed at my conference. I'm sure some of the Boston ladies on here can give great recommendations.
But early November wouldn't be too bad. Do you know where in the city you would stay? Do you mind walking? The city is so easily walkable. Tell me more about what you want out of the trip.
